Our mind-blowing memorabilia collection featuring great locals is far out, man! Grateful Dead, Faith No More, Jefferson Airplane, Journey, Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, Vince Guaraldi… these are just a few of the local bands that made it big. Now you can get in on big action yourself with the Cafe that's rocking San Francisco! Here at Pier 39 we've got fab views of Alcatraz, the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, the San Francisco Bay, and the City skyline, not to mention more than 110 stores, 11 full-service restaurants, and numerous fun-filled attractions. You can find the 45-acre, Pier 39 complex two blocks east of Fisherman's Wharf at Beach Street and The Embarcadero. So if you're going to San Francisco, be sure to stop by the Hard Rock Cafe.

From the moment you step inside Hard Rock Cafe, you're in the presence of greatness. There are legends on the walls, in the speakers, behind the bar, and at the grill. Since 1971, we've stood for food that's bold, drinks that are cold, and music that's loud. It all attracts a certain kind of guest. Those that aren't afraid to get up and rock out. Because nothing is more legendary than thespirit of rock n' roll. My First Hard Rock café to visit and wasn't disappointed even one bit. The staff are very friendly and super fun. The food tasted as good as it looked and the drinks were as sweet as the staff who made them for us.

Good food, good environment. Our server seemed to be a little distracted and all over the place, but we didn't go at a busy time. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, but it could have been better.

Such a fun night celebrating my son's birthday! They pulled out all the stops and served up a great experience and food. Got the whole restaurant to shout happy birthday all at once. So fun. Really great ambiance and service. Not the chain restaurant experience many would wrongly suggest. Highly recommend Hardrock in SF!
