This is a hidden treasure in Palm Springs Downtown! Great sushi rolls, great taste and amazing service!! And also GREAT PRICE, most sushi items are $3.95. We came for our friend's birthday dinner. Thanks again guys, we'll be back!!

You know why I come to Happy Sushi? Chef Jake’s hospitality, it’s primo location, never a wait, the prices are the best in town- seriously. You may come in for the $4 sushi tempura roll but it’s the special firecracker roll that keep you coming back. Luckily for me- it seems to be going unnoticed so we can always find a quick lunch and seats for an unplanned dinner date. We were sitting on the patio with a roll from Chef Jake and we watched as several people walking by, catching a glimpse of our table, actually had to stop in themselves.

Excellent sushi place with excellent staff. Probably the best Asian place in downtown Palm Springs. The ingredients were fresh tasting and the ginger was of good quality.

this was an excellent restaurant. My friend introduced me to the restaurant and I was very pleased with the excellent Sushi tempura teriyaki chicken and everything that was included in the combo meal. I wasn't aware that there were a couple of excellent restaurants like these in Cathedral City specializing in Japanese Cuisine. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Pretty average for the price. There’s no atmosphere you feel like you’re in a food court and the portion size small. The young man that served us was lovely however the food and atmosphere for the price just wasn’t there.

Ramen is ok however sushi is super fresh! Service has always been A+ friendly and knowledgeable. Kinda hard to find but once you do free 3hr parking out back in the heart of downtown P.S.

I should listened to the red flags. Every place next to it were packed with customers except here. There were only 4 people inside. Yelp reviewers gave them a low rating as well but i was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. The food by taste was acceptable if you’re really hungry and felt like you just needed something really quick. However the photos vs the real food brought out weren’t even in the same ball park. Half the rolls were falling apart because they weren’t tight enough. The seared dish on a bed of salad was so sad. The salad looked like it straight out the spring mix package from costco. Some leaves were even overly wilted that it tasted bitter or like dirt. I could’ve made that myself, certainly wasn’t worth the price. The 2 stars are mainly for effort, they seemed like they really tried hard but for what you pay and what you get in terms of quality, presentation, and overall cost, i would recommend going elsewhere.

Very solid sushi. Nothing was particularly out of this world but our lunch was definitely enjoyable. Hubby and I both enjoyed miso soup and spicy albacore tartare. I also had two spicy tuna hand rolls while my husband had a spicy dynamite roll (very spicy sauce) and eel avocado roll. We’ll be back to this convenient location.
