Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Cambridge

About

Did you know? The most authentic way to enjoy our hot pot is to do so without dipping sauces. Unlike other style of hot pot, our unique broth has been seasoned and simmered for over 8 hours. The bone marrow will adhere the flavors onto the food, allowing you to taste the true savory flavors of meat and pure sweetness of vegetables. Although not recommended, sauces are available upon request.

Excellent value and excellent taste. It's a shame there weren't any sauces, but the staff were friendly and the food we wanted for the hot pot came out quick. The quality of meat was great for the price, and all the foods we ordered were delicious. Definitely a great hot pot place that I highly recommend!

Service is super fast, but they also give you enough space to feel confortable. You pick your broth then pick all the items (protein, veggies, etc) you want to eat. This seems to be an authentic restaurant in that there were a bunch of items on the menu I had never heard of. We picked the most popular broths, half spicy and half regular. The choices for meat are extensive. You cook while you eat and chitchat with your friends. We have tried several places around Boston and, this so far is on the top of our list. Do try it out if you are into hotpot. The atmosphere is great, almost a party, upbeat and bright. Very healthy way to eat as it's all fresh food and fun.

Questions & Answers

Yes, they have a very nice veg mushroom broth and a generous selection of veggies, tofu and noodles. Definitely veg friendly

They do have beers and sake but I am not sure if they have Chinese spirits

Sweet. It's just me and wife on Thursday night when they open. It shouldn't be that difficult, right?

No

Nope. They boil an entire chicken for over 24 hours (it turns milky white) and flavor with at least ten different herbs and spices. It's pretty much the best broth in the world.

They don't have a website. But because it is Asian I would safely assume they are open all day as all Asian restaurants would be.
