Don't be fooled by the modest decor. The food is really good. They make really rich pork bone soup. Yummy.

A delicious addition to the Allston Korean scene. Their beef broth ramen is wonderful and a delightful change from the more ubiquitous pork base. They're fried chicken and shrimp are also very good, but there is a lot of competition in that area for them. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

This place has the best Korean food in the Boston area I have ever tasted!! The food tastes like food you find in Seoul. Good food, services, and friendly staff.

Hanmaru is definitely one of the best Korean restaurants in Boston area. You have to try Gamjatang, their main offering. It comes with pork bones(good amount of meat on them), potatoes, tofu, and veggies. Side dishes and other menus such as Scallion Beef and Ramen are also great.

The meal here is definitely worth trying. They’ve got great services, gigantic portion of food, and stunning flavor. You should come and ask about the size before ordering in order not to waste food!

The food was pretty good but those little doorbell things don't work or we just had a staff member who ignored us. It was a tight space and dim inside but there was a line out the door.

A $30 bowl of soup with hotdogs, lunch meat, and store bought top Romen.

Loved the spicy broth and how tender the pig's feet in it was. Great food, but there were only two servers for the whole restaurant, so it was a bit slow. Nonetheless, they did a great job! Bulgogi was alright, not as much flavor as I'm used to.
