Ordered veggie omelette and turkey bacon through uber eats. They forgot to include the bacon and the omelette was super runny and inedible. Even the toast was stale. Felt like I completely wasted my money.

Really good food! I gave two stars because the service is really bad. IF they even pick up the phone (which is hit or miss) you still have to worry about how long it will take to be ready, and if they will get your order right. Ive kept going back because, again, the food is really good, but just be prepared for a hassle to get it.

A friend of mine bought me a slice of the banana pudding cake, nice size slice & cake was good. Went there today to buy a couple of slices & corn bread muffins, waste of money. Corn bread muffins were 50 cents each were a size of a quarter, shame on them to sell these small things for 50 cents. Cake slices were super small for $4.75 a slice. Had to bad mouth but need big time improvement! Suggestion, make the muffins larger or sell them for 10 cents (need 4 to make 1 50 cent muffin) and make slices of the cake bigger or come down on the price. Think about what neighborhood you are in, not the suburbs where people have that type of money!

Not satisfied with food, tried their breakfast, eggs were to hard, pancakes to greasy, homefries not fully cooked, gave it a 2nd shot & tried their lunch, ordered chicken breast candid yams & baked mac & cheese....only the candid yams were good very disappointed in the food. they also take a very long time to get your food. They do not even start making lunch until 12pm when most people start their lunch, I will not go back there again

Very slow service and small portions. Waited over 45 mins for food. Ended up just going elsewhere

I just left Handys for the first time. I was hesitant after reading the reviews. 1st sign...no one was in there and it was the dinner hour; 2nd sign...did not smell soul food or any food. 3rd sign...woman came in and got a cheese burger from a place that had a adequate selection of soul food items...4th sign...cakes in the dessert smudged display case looked hacked at and old... I know....., I should have just left but I was hungry! My daughter wanted a rib dinner with mashed potatoes and cabbage. I got a side of baked Mac and cheese. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. Never, ever again. I wasted my money and I am disgusted. Prices are high and had to wait too long for tasteless and old food. I never write reviews but this was really bad. I want my money back and my appetite.

Terrible. When I asked what kind of BBQ is it, Carolina, Georgia, etc. I got a weird look and then got a response of Mass BBQ. That's not a real response, just like their food it's not real BBQ. Gonna taste animal flesh texture and sauce. Nothing else. Avoid if you like actual BBQ.

Handy's has great food. Tastes like Grandma's house on Thanksgiving. If you are in the mood for comfort food and that down home flavor, go to Handy's.

We have been here a few times for breakfast and for lunch and are always really impressed. It’s nothing fancy inside but it’s decent food at a great price. Reading some of these reviews has me confused because someone said the portions are small (they aren’t) and someone said the Mac and cheese was awful (it’s amazing and real homemade Mac n cheese). Everyone has always been nothing but super friendly to us, but that’s also probably because we are nice back. Want good customer service? Be a good customer. It does take a little while to get your food but no longer than a normal restaurant which makes sense since they are making mostly everything to order.
