I've been going to Halls Hollywood Drive in for more than 50 years. Halls was one of the drive Ins I would cruise through when I was in high school. On my last visit my wife and I had a Big Buster platter and as usual it was great !. Another thing I enjoy is getting flavored Coke. I had Cherry but Vanilla and Chocolate are available as well. I enjoy the atmosphere and the waitresses are friendly. It's not Cork and Cleaver and it will never be but it is a place that brings back memories and a great place to eat.

Faster than fast food and MUCH BETTER. BAG of steak fries must be 3-4 potatoes. Shareable!

Super slow and the food was cold! The tenderloin had a sour taste to it. The waitress was super nice, but just disappointed. The tavern is so good, but this place will be a pass for us.

This was such a weird dining experience... the customers made me feel like I was in a time warp and the music made me feel like I was in an episode of Hey Arnold..there seemed to be several "regular" customers.. but the server only seemed overly friendly to those customers. She just seemed to have a rude tone when answering our questions. The food was not good. I had the cod meal which was overcooked and very dry. The best thing I ate was the steamed frozen broccoli. The place wasnt too clean either. My table had dried coffee spills and the bathroom wasnt clean. I usually can always find SOMETHING positive in a dining experience but not with this one.

We stopped here on Mothers day because there was a 30min wait at the mall restaurants across the street, even at 1:30. Here we were seated immediately and the service was good.No alchohol here, which may be why it wasn't packed, but that was fine with is as we were just looking for a good midday meal while traveling between Lansing and Indianapolis. The burger selection was good and I enjoyed my Houston version with shredded cheese, bacon and bbq sauce. Nice hardy burger and fries. My wife enjoyed her Reuben with coleslaw sub substituted for 'kraut.Little bit of a wait after ordering, which was fine. We just had water, so the bill was about $17.50 before tip. We'll try Hall's again when we hit gas at Costco (nearby) when we come through Fort Wayne again.

Ventilation issues. Be prepared to reek.

Today May 13th, 2020 I waited for 40 minutes at the drive up. Nobody waited on me for the whole time. Then at 8pm they shut the light off. I asked and they said the manager wasn’t going to take anymore orders. I was there from 7:25pm until 8:10pm and nobody could take my order. What a joke that place is. My lights were on and one kid came over halfway during my wait and I said I hadn’t ordered and still couldn’t get someone to take my order. Every other vehicle got their order that pulled up after I did. What a terrible experience.

Good food reasonably priced, more of a homestyle menu

Worst breakfast ever. To begin with the restaurant has an odor and everything is sticky. Little flies buzzing around. Customer service was lackluster to be nice. Hashbrowns were watered down not sure why. Toast seemed stale so they drenched it with butter. To top it off my son got sick and couldn’t play his hockey game after we drove four hours to Fort Wayne from Michigan. I would never recommend nor would I ever return to this restaurant. I truly believe you could go anywhere else and have a better experience and a much better breakfast.

I had a great first experience here, this time I was a little disappointed. When we arrived we stood in the lobby for 5 mins until someone acknowledged us. The lady at the register sat their, looked at us, counted her register money, and then walked off. Didn't say word. Then we heard mumble to someone in the back that there was two too many customers at the front.after we finally got seated the food was good, came quick, and our server was nice. We ate a full meal plus desert for under $10

We stopped by here while on a road trip. This drive in restaurant has awesome curb appeal. The server who obtained our order gave great recommendations on some of the menu items that were favorites of the locals. Everything sounded so appealing! We were very pleased with our service and what we ordered. Our server was so polite and the service was fast, even during peak business hours. The portions were large and the food was fresh. If I was closer to home I would have taken a box for my leftovers! I've marked this as a favorite destination spot and will be back when passing through again! Thank you for a great experience.
