Good food, very friendly staff. Nice for a quick, affordable bite. While they're most known for their bourbon chicken, I usually get their coneys (those and their potato wedges are my go-tos).

Very much enjoyed my first ever visit to this establishment. The owner greets you upon entry and is very polite and attentive to the patrons wants and needs. The menu is easy to read and choose a great selection from. The restaurant is older but very quiet and relaxing being away from the busy street outside. The food is prepared in front of you and easily customizable to you wants. The owner is very friendly and serves your plate up well. The food is hot and fresh worth great flavor and taste. The prices are great for what you pay any where else today in comparison for similar items. I highly recommend the bourbon chicken with spicy rice and potato spuds. My hope it's that someday he will have fresh baked cornbread as a side compliment as well.

I stopped by here at the beginning of February after a brother of mine recommended it. It’s a hidden spot in the basement of the Talbott Tower. The staff was phenomenal and very hospitable, especially the young gentlemen at the register. They start you off by getting to know your taste in food and from there they give you samples to taste accordingly. I am not a fan of spicy food but after some persuasion I must say the gentleman was right, it was more full of FLAVOR than “heat”. Definitely looking forward to visiting again! Thank you!

Halal, excellent food. Located in basement. Enter building where Subway is located. Take stair or elevator to basement. Enough place to sit with family.

This place is excellent! It came highly recommended by local friends. As I sit here now finally enjoying my half bourbon/half blackened chicken with spicy rice and veggies, I too add my own recommendation for folks to frequent this restaurant. It’s not awfully easy to find (in the basement of Talbott Tower), but the staff make it well worth the effort. I wish I had allowed the server to offer me the full range of samples, as he was doing, before I jumped in with my order, but I’ll be back to try other varieties in the future.
