Great ambient, amazing food and good service. One of the best Vietnamese spots in Chicago.

I met with Danielle for business partnership purposes and she was so wonderful to meet with! I haven't experienced the amazingness of the restaurant but I cannot wait to try it out. I can tell that the couple really takes pride in their craft and that's what drives their success.

Fantastic spot. One of my favourite servers in Chicago recommended HaiSous as a "fab restaurant doing dope stuff" (redacted). This place did not disappoint! To start, the cocktails were lovely - flavourful, but not too overpowering or overly sweet. My friend and I had many rounds of cocktails. We had the papaya salad, the chicken wings, the eggplant, a dish that had grilled meat and greens and noodles and spring rolls. To finish, fried banana on coconut cream. I would write home about each of these dishes!Everything was executed with incredibly high standards - from presentation to flavours and textures. Full marks. Would definitely come back again.

Phenomenal food. Every dish we ordered was exquisite. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the service was excellent. Absolutely recommend a meal here.

I came to HaiSous with a friend not knowing beforehand much about the restaurant. It is on the pricier side, but was delicious. The portions are small and it's recommended to order multiple plates to share family style. Our table tried the prime rib, the chicken wings and the curry with a side of white rice. I would definitely recommend all three. If you are looking for really good Vietnamese food on a smaller budget, I would try somewhere else, but a good place for a special occasion.

We are originally from Chicago and just visiting for the weekend. Hands down this was my favorite meal of our trip. Joshua was an attentive, informative, and wonderful server. We would be fortunate to return here. If you can handle fish bones & head, the fluke is an absolute delight. The crispy skin and buttery fish flavor is memorable. While the puff pastry dessert can't be served warm (since it had cream inside it), the textures and flavors are delicious. I would highly, highly recommend (& ask for Joshua to be your server). :-)

I brought my cousin to HaiSous during her visit to Chicago, and we could not have been more pleased. Each dish we ordered was unique and delicious. The space itself is beautiful. And the service was excellent -- every single person we interacted with seemed to go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. This place is special. Highly recommended!

We had a great time. We ordered their communal dish where you wrap the food in the lettuce and dip in broth- a must try! We all raved about the seafood stew as well. It has the creamiest broth - order extra rice to enjoy with it!!

Had a great meal here not too long ago. I love the modern yet comfortable atmosphere. The tables aren’t extremely close to each other either which I like a lot. Had the octopus salad which was delicious. Also had the prawns and short ribs. Short ribs were sensational. Tried almost every dessert and I have to say, they were the icing on the cake. Really great experience. Would return.

When you work hard all week and you want to treat yourself to a wonderful eating experience go to HaiSous. It has it all-great food, and happy people working providing their best.

First time visitor, long term customer.

Delicious. Grilled pork soup for two persons was excellent. Our server Jeremy and the rest of the team helped us navigate the menu. Will be back again.

Get the egg custard coffee. It was better than what I had in Vietnam.
