Today was the 3rd time I arrived to have lunch shortly after 11:30 am. Doors were locked, as happened the first time the restaurant was not open at the posted time. In fact, my husband and I commented, after looking through the window and seeing no activity, what a shame it had gone out of business.The second time, the door was open, we went in and were directed to wait over on the side of the restaurant while they washed floors and vacuumed, as they had "arrived late."Unacceptable ! If your opening is 11:30, you should be ready to serve clients.The food just isn't that great to overcome the disrespect of its clentele!

My husband and I recently received a gift card from Haiku. We called to place an order for delivery as we were given this gift card for the purpose of delivery because my husband had just been released from the hospital. They claimed that we could not use the gift card over the phone. My husband and I made the trip there in spite of this anyway. Upon arriving to the location in Scarsdale, we asked why we weren’t able to use the gift card. We were promptly yelled at by the manager. Then we were threatened by the bartender that we needed to leave. The bartender yelled at us that we should be ashamed of ourselves as if this was a racial issue and not a costumer service issue. I am a man and I am married to man. We both have love and respect to ALL different cultures. Please do not give business to Haiku as they have extremely BAD costumer service.

Food is excellent for the neighborhood and service is superb. The manager is always grumpy and we do not feel welcomed when he sees us. It is as if he is paying us to come here to eat. Minus 1 star

On April 30, my friend and I wanted to grab Haiku for lunch. We've been here multiple times before, always enjoyed Haiku's lunch specials, sushi, etc. Ordered the chicken and broccoli lunch special, only to find a ROACH in my meal!!! I am so disgusted and so disappointed. All they did was comp our bill, a manager didn't even come over to talk to us. Never coming here again.
