two days ago was the first time we went to this fine restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We had great time with the courteous service, with the superb cooking and wine and with the honest charge. We will surely come back in a short time.

The staff were friendly and the environment was very welcoming, unfortunately for a Mexican restaurant to be out of guacamole and chicken was a bit... odd. Disappointingly, the service was incredibly slow and while the building had the charm, the restaurant did not.

AND THEN THERE WAS...Our family watched as customers walked out. We watched as unpaid employees walked out. Wondering if there was a server, cook or manager...we walked out. And then, there was none. For an experience as odd as a bad movie with a surprise ending, dare yourself to eat at Hacienda - where "manana" means "never."

Questions & Answers

Bare NONE. This restaurant and management should have 0 stars. The manager Andres G Rosales agreed to host a party of 100 for me on Feb 25 and proposed a host of ideas. He came across excited and energetic on the phone. He promised to provide me with an email confirming a hold fir that date by that Wednesday, Feb 28. After I questioned, via email, his 2 rating, he never returned my calls or emails. Multiple text and calls to the restaurant went unanswered. I never got anything from his stating that upon debt, he wasn’t able to handle... NOTHING. Finally, with only 3 weeks to find another location in Albuquerque to accommodate my group, I had to scramble to retain other accommodations. The owner/operator/management, of this excuse for a business, is utterly lacking in professionalism. Not only do I advise no one ever eat there, you should definitely not do business with the business. If there was a negative score below 0, that is what I would give them. Pitiful ???

Church Street Cafe, the candy lady, Hacienda Del Rio, and the high noon.
