Wow! This is a great restaurant in downtown Ypsi. As you walk in , the bar area is like stepping back into the past. Here, you can see belt driven ceiling fans and authentic silvered mirrors behind the bar. The dining area is classic wooden tables and chairs. The fried mushrooms are a must, as they are Big and battered. The sandwiches like the Reuben and the Cuban are excellent. For a side, have a cup of soup made fresh every day. If only I had enough appetite for dessert.

Haabs is our go to spot in downtown Ypsilanti and we have eaten there well over 100 times. Very kid friendly but the food is very nice. The fish is excellent but the best thing is the new york strip steak with sauteed mushrooms and onions. Very good customer service. I highly recommend.

Haabs is comfortable, inviting and has a relaxed atmosphere. The wood bar is classic and happy hour is 4pm to 7pm. Great deals on drinks and appetizers. The service is quick and friendly. A great place to unwind and have good food. I will definitely return again.

Had great Turkey dinner with pumpkin pie and squash soup! Price was reasonable and served quickly. Waitress was friendly and good.

My son and I got a couple of shareable. The fresh fried mushrooms were excellent and huge...like golf ball sized. The loaded baked potatoes were also a good size portion and we'll done.Service was friendly and fun.Definitely recommend for lunch!

Mixed feelings on this. My food was great, my partners was gross... The place is SO dated. I remember it looking the same 20 years ago (without the musty smell). We went there for Easter and my Mom's birthday. The cake was great (I brought that with me).

I always have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The pretzels are great and service is good. Unfortunately, the rest of the food is average. The ranch tastes mostly like mayo. The steak is a decent quality for the money, but nothing to write home about. It’s not terrible, and we go every few months, but there’s definitely room for improvement (with the food and the decor).
