This is by far the BEST most AFFORDABLE Chinese food in the city and I would say in New York in general!!

Quick service and great food! The pig feet rice noodle casserole was terrific. The noodles were the rolled up Chang fun noodles and the pig feet was well cooked. Also had the wonton and duck noodle in soup, wow that was good. The flavor of the duck seeped into the soup and added a really nice flavor. The duck was also cooked perfectly. Lastly, the hot sauce on the side was a perfect amount of spicy 🌶. Cheap bites too. Will definitely return.

No frills noodle joint that's down the street from some fruit vendors. I had the beef tendon noodle soup with spring roles and everything was tasty as well as cheap. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Really good Peking duck, excellent steamed dumplings. Thought the batter on the fried dumplings was too thick bit that was my only criticism.

Known for their Chinese servers who wear Hawaiian shirts, this restaurant is great. A small place, with their walls littered with currency from all over the world. When I visit, I usually order the combination noodles with beef tendons and wontons. They're really good! They're menu is vast with a lot of combinations to choose from. They also have a separate menu with pictures, for people having a hard time picking. Service is pretty quick. The food doesn't take too long either. It's served hot and ready for eating. They're not pricey either, like most Chinese fare. Good for groups and sharing!

Amazing Wonton Soup - highly recommend grabbing these. Everything else was decent, but wonton soup gets this place the 5 stars. Other people ranted about the duck buns - didn't get a chance try but give it a go.

Low key and delicious restaurant in Chinatown. Pictured here is tender beef stew with wontons noodle soup.

The waiters were decked out in stylish Hawaiian shirts, the food is good value for the price, and the portions are generous. While my friend and I made small talk for a few minutes before deciding what to order, we received a few looks from the waiters, but they seemed pretty nonchalant. (They were wearing Hawaiian shirts, after all.) The menu had what seemed like 300 items, so if you're indecisive you might want to bring a 300-sided die with you. Or you can defer to the "chef's special" section, which had only a dozen or so.The "eggplant with garlic sauce" was covered in a delightful orange sheen and it was delicious, although a bit sweeter than one would hope. The mapo tofu is pretty typical but I don't remember there being any meat.If you're nearby and in the mood for mapo tofu and eggplant, this isn't a bad spot.

My friend took me here and oh my it was so good! The food was amazing and for the price I was shocked it was so good! It reminded me of the street food over in my travels in China and Vietnam!

H K Wonton Garden offers amazing Cantonese inspired dishes in the heart of New York Chinatown. This no frills eatery delivers delicious plates of noodles packed with flavor. Their standout ginger scallion noodles are some of the best in the city surpassing the famous competition closer to the bridge. Popular with the tourist crowd HKs interior is decorated with currency from the four corners of the globe. This fantastic restaurant should be on your top five list for the next trip to NYC Chinatown.

Unassuming outside and inside but exceptional food!!! Everything tasted great, good portions, good prices!!! Interesting: 100% non-Chinese customers!!! Don’t know why but we will definitely be back!!!

I love their wonton noodle soup, congee and just about everything else. Their chicken feet is the best I’ve had 🤗🤗🤗🤗 they cook their wonton and noodles fresh to order.
