Gyubee Japanese BBQ

Food quality is alright, does not seem as good as other similarly priced restaurants. Perhaps dinner will be different. Servers were very very adamant on exactly how long you can stay which didn’t exactly come off. Very well.

Had a group of 11 people with reservations & we got seated on time if not earlier. Workers came by the tables regularly to take orders and to clear used plates in a timely manner and didn't have to wait long for any of the food. Had a great experience here, the food was delicious and so far the best grill house I've been to in the GTA.

So much meat. Good choice of pork, beef and chicken. There was lots of veggies too. First time at a Japanese BBQ. Didn't disappoint. Service was fast with our selections. Will definitely try again. Fun meal with friends.

We made a reservation and they promptly confirm it the day of. We were seated right away when we arrived, an overall wonderful experience! Clean, spacious and wonderfully marinated items to cook. If you touch your menu to look over items, someone is always there to take your additional items, it is quite different (in a good way) for an Asian restaurant where you usually have to flag someone down! Items came promptly when ordered, and empty dishes were also magically taken within 2 minutes of setting it on the end. The staff could not be more courteous and engaging when asked for recommendations. It was our first time there, and we look forward to our next visit. You will be stuffed of wonderfully tasting meats and seafood! You will not be sorry. Best yet is we did not smell like smoke which we were expecting to from previous visits to other establishments. Service was really great. Food was good too. You can definitely see the better quality meats in comparison to your average Korean bbq place. Only think I would change is to increase the sitting time.

The best Japanese Grill I've been too. Service is excellent too!

Servers are nice, but sometimes don't remember to check up on us if we want to make more orders. Both times I visited with 5 people and made us share 1 grille, which is kind of annoying sometimes to feed everyone with a time limit they give (2 hours I believe). I feel with 5 people its necessary for 2 grilles, especially if paying $50 for all you can eat dinner. Food quality is great however, tastes fresh and very flavourful. Regardless of the few issues above, I love coming here and would come back again since the food is AMAZING.

Speaking of the quality and price, probably one of the best Japanese Grill places to go to in All GTA. The service is great and attentive to your needs. The waiting line is long and it tales about an hour to get a table during dinner time. Best to reserve early or simply go there at off-peak hours. Highly Recommend the beef tongue.

Busy Busy Busy but surprisingly good service for an Asian restaurant. The quality of the food is good and the choices are plentiful.

Food was great. The staff was friendly and quick with bringing the food or clearing used dishes. Definitely will go again.

One of the best Japanese bbq’s I’ve had in the area. Great quality meat, good variety and great service. They offer 10% off the dinner menu at lunchtime.

Food is amazing. Since they have great meat options make sure to go for the sweet Miso Beef and beef brisket . Service could have been better since we asked for lettuce in our first and 2nd order but didn't get it till we asked for the 3rd time. Same happened with the Shrimp.

Elmer is the best! He is so nice and patient.The meat is fresh and delicious

Plenty of meat and seafood choices available, obviously taste really good. I've been here multiple times and I still don't understand how employees stay calm and happy with the most responsive service despite the chaotic number of people. Someone played with the food and burned the chopsticks on purpose and they replaced it right away, didn't even need to ask. That is exceptional

Very busy restaurant. Must wait for a while before come to sit. However, the food was amazing here. There are lots of options to choose and could satisfy most of different kinds of customers. Offering lots of vegetarians options and also white meat is available here. Overall its is good to go and will come back soon.
