Gyu-Kaku - White Plains

I absolutely love Gyu-Kaku. I have eaten here over a dozen times. Love the staff. Love the concept. It is my "go to" restaurant whenever the question of "what do you want to eat?" comes up with the significant other. The 90 minute, all-you-can-eat option is my favorite option. I believe that this option is exclusive to the White Plains location in the NYC \ Metro Area. I know the ones in Manhattan don't offer it anymore. It's a great place for dates or family \ friends events as well. The food is great I have yet to be disappointed.

Came here on a Saturday night and it was swamped. They still managed to sit us within 10 minutes of arrival which was great. Service was a little slow once seated, but as mentioned, it was very crowded. Our waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere is really cool. I'm a bit of a KBBQ vet so I was interested in the Japanese BBQ scene, and it was pretty good. There is a time limit for the unlimited menu, however, and the portions are pretty small for each dish. This plus the time limit made us feel a little pressured BUT everything we tried was very good.

Heard a lot about this place and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was very nice and attentive. She guided us through what I thought was an overwhelming menu. The food was seasoned very well and the appetizers we're great. The mixed drinks very also very good. On top of everything else we had a great time cooking our own food on the table top grill.

9/10 times I am craving to come to this place. Food is AMAZING. Their happy hour choices is the best there is. Their lunch specials are great prices. The all you can eat menu is even better. There is so much you can order. The apps are amazing also. Drinks are nice and strong. My fave app that I always recommend to everyone is the spicy tuna volcano. Trust me you won’t regret it

The place offers an awesome variety of fresh food. I enjoyed dining here. Staff members are always friendly, pricing is reasonable and the spot is always well organised.

We had an enjoyable and fun experience here this evening. It was my first time so I was a bit overwhelmed at first with the all you can eat option, but we went hard and I’m not one but mad about it. Recommendation order some meat and your sides/small plates at the same time the meat take a bit to cook and everything comes at once or on a steady flow. Thanks for not believing in us Doug the waiter your doubt made us finish it all 😁

Been here several times and I will keep coming back. Service is good. Food is great. I always take advantage of the All You Can Eat option and it is always worth the price. Personal favorite is the spicy addicting cucumbers (although not spicy at all) and the hanger stake marinated with miso.

This was our first time at the White Plains location. We had made reservation prior so we’re seated right away. Our server was also great. We opted for Ninja package and the food was more than enough for the 4 of us. Overall great experience.

Had a great time here. The menu offers a variety of things and ways to eat. You can buy a package or order items individually. We ordered the two people menu and had food left over. The seating was a bit tight because of the grill but nothing too uncomfortable. Maybe shorter people would be more comfortable. They server was very attentive and checked in with us often. It was a great experience and would definitely go back.

Every visit here I have a great time. Service is quick and great, this place is perfect for a night out with friends. I would recommend making a reservation.

Excellent food! No complaints at all.... Had the meat lovers, it was worth every penny and plenty of food for 2 people. Definitely try the crispy fried bacon.

Best Japanese BBQ for the value!For the all-you-can-eat ones, you got tons of options for a great deal! Even the premium one (the most basic) got you enough variety for a mid-sized group!Personally I enjoy the juicy beef and the seafood, while the pork belly was my cousin’s favorite. We also recommend their spring rolls, which were way bette than any other restaurant’s.The service was a little inconsistent, but we don’t come here for it so that’s good.

From the first moment you arrive in this place the personel give you a comfortable feeling. Very comfortable waiters, it is a kind place to to go out with buddies or with your date. Excellent cooking, skillful chief cook and stuff, competitive pay and nice service. Highly recommended.
