Vegetarian and vegan ramen and gyozaYou can choose to ditch the egg to make your ramen vegan. The vegetarian/vegan ramen is just so-so while I don't understand the taste of the vegan gyÅza. Tbh, I can make a better miso ramen at home while their gyÅza tasted like my failed gyÅza using the Quorn meat grounds. The gyÅza isn't that bad but it's not good either. If there's any consolation, they're legit vegan because they clearly stated no poultry, no fish, no egg and dairy. It's just a few minute walk from the Tobu-Nikko station and bus stop going to the tourist spots. The owner was super nice and they really care if you're vegan because they'll clarify your orders for you. He speaks a little English but he can communicate enough. YOU SHOULD USE THEIR TOILET.

Inazuma miso ramen tastes spicy and sour (very similar to "Tom yum koong", in my opinion). Miso ramen is also good. I recommend Kyoza and Tofu as appetizers. Overall dishes are "umami" flavor ramen.

If you are looking for a cheap meal and tastes like 5 star restaurant, then look no further than Goyza no Umechan. I got the Inazuma Miso Ramen and Green Ginger Dumplings, and that flavour of the spicy miso ramen complimented the grilled pork and salty simmered bamboo really well. The Goyza was very tasty and fresh served with vinegar, soy sauce and spicy sesame oil. Amazing customer service and English menu is available. If you are vegetarian then you are in luck. I Highly recommend this place.

Grunge homey hearty gyoza and home style ramen. The cha-Shu rice is peppery and delicious- great with some crispy oily gyoza. A good cheap meal

Delicious Ramen and Gyoza. Small and welcoming place with very kind staff. We ate here twice in the same weekend because we had a really good impression. Highly recommended.

Been in Japan for three weeks now and visited about 5 cities. These are the best dumplings I've had so far !

In one word: amazingIn many: this little shop packs a bug punch. Please do yourself a favor, try the ginger gyoza, try the garlic punch gyoza and leave room for the mochi mochi and definitely try the miso ramen. Too much food, you say? Not if you're walking all over this wonderful city of Nikko 💖

Cheap and cheerful but that's about it. Ramen and gyoza distinctly lacking in flavour, not sure what the spice rack consists of, but not much. Reviews saying this is the best place they've eaten in japan? What have you been eating? First bad meal I've had in 3 weeks, at least it wasn't expensive, but I've had better ramen for less. Came here because of reviews and vego options, left unimpressed. Service was lovely as always in japan

If you are vegan and want to try Japanese food this is your place to go in Nikko. Just about a 4 min walk from the station this place is a small Japanese style restaurant serving vegan gyoza and ramen . The food is tasty and the hosts are really humble too. Must visit in Nikko!!!
