This place features a menu which has been basically the same for 20 years. Meat and two... A daily special... Cornbread and Sweet tea. Great. A landmark.

First, let's be honest: you're not coming here for the ambiance. This is a seriously old building, and it could use some love. But who cares when they serve some of the best, freshest, home-cooked food you will ever eat in this town?! Don't judge this book by its cover; I've never had a bad meal at Gus's, and certainly never left hungry! GET THE FRIED SQUASH. It is truly legendary. I also recommend the beef tips over rice, the burgers, and the banana pudding. Friendly owner and servers. No fancy plates or tables, but darn good food!
