First time eating Ethiopian food, and I was very impressed. There's a reason this place has a high rating. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Will definitely come again... when I'm a bit less hungry, lol. My husband isn't the best at sharing food.

We went to Gursha on a night that there was a buffet. The buffet had lots of very good options. Some were quite spicy but there were also mild options. They also had a traditional coffee ceremony and brought over some traditional Ethiopian coffee, which was delicious but needed a lot of sugar since it was really strong. They also serve it with traditional Injera bread and did not have any silverware at the table. We probably could’ve asked for silverware, but ate it in the traditional manner, using the Injera bread to pick up all of the food. We would definitely come back, especially when they have a buffet.

Authentic Ethiopian food. I live an hour away and make the trip frequently just to eat here! Love it!

This place is the real thing. Excellent food, good prices. At end, ordered coffee which was then specially made from scratch, complete with ROASTING the beans in-house! First time in my life I experienced that wonderful smell. Was served in a traditional, ceremonial set and delicious.

As a first timer, I really enjoyed going to Gursha. Although it is small and there was only one staff member, it was great. The man who waited on us was very kind and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

Great place for Ethiopian food. The experience is subtle and the prices are fair. Its a small menu, but the foot was wonderful. I would have only thought that if the Injera was brought out hot it would have made for a more wonderful experience. Overall, I would go there again.

Pleasant atmosphere and the food was good.

What an enjoyable surprise. My wife and I went here on a whim one day just to get a taste of something different. Loved everything that was served especially the coffee. I wish there were more restaurants around Grand Rapids that give you a taste of what other corners of the world are like.

The veggie combo, that's all I know, it's great! wish they had finger bowls.
