We have recently visited them This timeless quintessential restaurant located in Theatre District of New York City. They have recently launched their PUNJABI THALIS for their lunch service. Both Vegetarian and Non vegetarian options are available.. There thalis are very carefully curated to provide a wholesome and balanced meal. It brings together a medley of authentic Punjabi dishes, showcasing the essence of Punjabi gastronomy. It typically consists of an assortment of Starters ,Pulao ,curries, dal (lentils), Paneer , meat dishes Indian bread, rice, salad and signature dessert. We tried 🍸Genda Phool 🍹Paan 🍛NON-VEGETARIAN THALI (Chicken Tikka / Tawa Macchi) (butter chicken / param singh da meat / kadhi pakora/ dal dhaba) (Raita / salad / pulao / naan or roti) (Gulab jamun) 🍛VEGETARIAN THALI (Aloo tikki chaat / hara bhara kebab ) (paneer tikka masala/ lauki kofta / aloo Gobi / dal dhaba) (Raita / salad / pulao / naan or roti) (Gulab jamun My personal favourites Genda phool ( cocktail) Lauki ka kofta , Kadhi pakodi , Param Singh Da Meat , Pind Da Chuza and their signature The Gulaabo Gulaabo is the ideal place to head for celebrations, corporate luncheons, romantic dates, and experiences to remember. Stop by and dine in at a contemporary and elegant space.

We loved Gulaabo! The food was absolutely delicious, my favorites were the tikka masalas, lamb kebab and aloo tiki chaat! I am also obsessed with their kulcha and desserts! The vibe in the restaurant is amazing it is the perfect place for a date night or any celebration! I was in love with their paan cocktail - I am very picky about my cocktails but this one knocked it out of the park! Would recommend going to check it out asap - their staff is the best and super helpful as well!

Tucked away on a Times Square side street, Gulaabo defies the stereotypes and delivers an excellent, unpretentious take on north Indian food. Nice, clean décor in soft hues that offer a nice respite from the flash and glam lurking just around the corner. Warm, attentive service. Every dish that we ordered was a very good version of itself. Relatively generous portions and reasonable prices for the quality of the offerings and the location. The only aspect of the experience that can be improved upon were the cocktails- average and forgetful. Definitely a restaurant that I would return to when in the area.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never written a review but this was the worst experience I have ever had and I had to write this review. The owner was absolutely horrible and accused the guests of finding a slug in the meal and said that we could have brought it. This was truly shocking. For the price they are asking us to pay the service was absolutely horrible. Do not recommend.

Don’t be put of by the busy Time Sq location. Brilliant tasty authentic indian menu. We had the golgappas, pakoda platter, dhal Shaba, koftas and nans, and loved every bit of it.

Went for dinner with friends. The cocktails are really creative and taste refreshing. The food and service is better than most indian restaurants in the city

The food was good, but I am unhappy with the way my child and I were treated by the receptionist with colored hair. The receptionist was very rude. I have traveled to 12 countries in Europe with my child, and I have never received this kind of treatment before. I got a recommendation for this restaurant from my friend, so I drove 1.5 hours from NJ to have dinner there with my family. I checked with them whether they were okay to host a 1.5-year-old, and the answer was “yes”. We had a great time for 1.5 to 2 hours during dinner, but while leaving, my child’s diaper got dirty and needed to be changed. As he is 1.5 years old, changing the diaper was necessary for us because our place was 1.5 hours away, and we could not keep him in dirty diapers. I asked the receptionist whether there was any diaper-changing station in the restaurant. She looked at me with surprise and said, “No.” I don’t expect hotels in NYC to have diaper-changing stations due to space constraints, although I don’t see the space issue in your restaurant with 2 floors, but it is understandable. I thought, let’s go to the toilet, which is on the lower level, and sit on the toilet to change the diaper for my kid, as it was difficult for me to take him in the car for so long with dirty diapers. While I was going to the restroom on the lower floor, I saw an abandoned table near the restroom. I thought, why not use it and change the diaper. I did not realize that the receptionist with colored hair was constantly looking at me. As I went downstairs, she came right behind me and started talking rudely, saying, “You cannot change diapers in our restaurant, and this table is not meant for it.” She repeated the same words twice, and the second time in louder and more rude language. I remained calm and did not respond to it. A similar situation happened to us when I was in Italy with my child when he was 6 months old. The restaurant manager came to our table and apologized for not having a diaper table. At that time, he made a quick arrangement to get the diaper changed on one of the tables. This was in a Michelin-starred restaurant. It’s all about how well you treat your customers. I want to remind you of a general principle that everyone in life will nurture a child as a father, mother, or a guardian. You cannot treat a child differently if the child needs to change the diaper, and this is a natural process.

I stumbled upon this restaurant a couple nights ago while I was looking for a place to eat before the play started. The customer service at this restaurant was top tier! Beginning from the person standing outside, to the hostess, to the waitress! Everyone was super friendly. The waitress provided great recommendations for food options and demonstrated how to eat the food properly. The food had so many good flavors. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

It is one of my now favorite place to devour indian food in the city. Very close to Times Square, location is unbeatable. It started with a pan cocktails, mezcal (I think its called tandoor) and marigold-infused vodka cocktails. Our fav was Paan. For food, we tried: keema stuffed kulcha ( they don't shy away from putting butter) aloo chaat and chicken kebab. for the price, I think quantity is good , Ended with gulab jamun dessert which I think was the best part. never had such an experience before. Def Def Recommend

Except the atmosphere being a little too loud for me, everything else is great about this restaurant. Food is one of the best you can find in NYC. Service is great, and even with all the crowd and rush, everyone was cheerful and serving with a smile. Definitely recommend it.

We hosted a Holiday Party at Gulaabo which was a smashing success! We met with Payal and Chef Param to plan the event and also taste the delicious food. Chef had lots of great ideas and executed the dishes perfectly. Our guests were warmly welcomed, the decor was absolutely fantastic (thx to Payal) and the service was impeccable. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thanks again to Payal and Rajiv for achieving perfection. Our guests were very impressed as were Puja and I. Can’t wait to host our next event there!
