G's Jamaican Cuisine

AMAZING!!! We just went to G's today for my birthday and the food is absolutely delicious! So much flavor huge portions excellent service. The Guy here was so nice and friendly. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal! I had the oxtail with mashed potatoes and gravy with beans and rice. So yummy! My husband ordered the pepper steak with green beans and mashed potatoes also very yummy! So much flavor! Very authentic! The area is fine nothing to be sacred of like the other reviews say they are exaggerating a bit. Thank you so much for an awesome meal.for my birthday we will be back!!!

Hands down best in town!

We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we went to this delicious place which we didn’t know before. We passed a lovely evening there with very good food and a well-trained stuff and an impressive cook. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall definitely visit again soon. We warmly recommend.

First time eating here the experience was not pleasant the food was cold, the Jerk Chicken is definitely BAKED & dry and they upcharge you for using a debit card. I had red beans and rice it was probably the best thing on my plate but could taste the curry all through it and cabbage, the cabbage was not good its made with corn and other mixed veggies which takes away the taste of the cabbage!....just overall not a good experience will not be returning.

I get sick every time I eat here. Literally. I had high hopes since they've been around so long, so kept giving it a try, but it never goes well. It's very dirty, and unsanitary. I do wish there were somewhere else nearby with authentic Jamaican, but this isn't the place. It actually taste pretty decent, but the after effects are horrible.It's never fresh, and that probably contributes to the disgorge. They usually bring it out a few minutes after ordering, so it sits openly for awhile. It's very greasy, but not in a good or satisfying way.

Food was fresh and awesome. We enjoyed an awesome band... A little slice of Jamaica! Loved it, going back!

I had to see what the hype was about so I went there for lunch it was a really good atmosphere I was there alone and it was really good music the man that showed me was so polite and I just enjoy being there just for the Peace of Mind in the restaurant I would definitely go back the food was excellent maybe next time I'll have to take someone with me

The best carrib restaurant in KC. If you've been to any real Jamaican restaurant then you'll love this place. Friendly people spreading One Love, good vibes and filling your belly with good food.

Always fresh, little heat in each bite. Love this place for Jamaican food!
