Grover T's BBQ

Came in for dinner last night with my wife, food was great as always. We sat Near the bar, we noticed the bartender and other employees being rowdy and what seemed to be a lot of drinking seemed like our dinner was more of a party for the waitstaff. Probably won’t be coming back since Sonny’s in town.

Got the family pack and all of it was very good! We ordered online and picked it up at 11 am and they were ready on time. They gave us extra sauce for the meat. You could definitely tell these were made fresh. The fried okra was not oily. The chicken tenders were so tender and juicy. The brisket was so tender and just melted in your mouth type taste. Everything was so good! The only best tasting brisket I have had was a friend of mine. But this was a great comparison. Best brisket in town. This place is so much better than Sonny's for sure. Sonny's can not compare with this place. Great price as well for how much you get. Even though I have to drive 25 minutes to get the food here, I don't mind at all!

BBQ primarily. On Sundays there is a great mullet plate special, a local favorite. Mullet, two (2) sides and bread. Come early and you can get backbones added, no charge. If you don't understand backbones, just try some. Homestyle sides, cheese grits are traditional. Good place to go with friends. 😎

Great fried foods. If you like fried mushrooms; try Grovers. In my opinion they are the best in Pensacola.

Very friendly staff and food was great very cozy sitting in a booth next to the bar. Alana was an amazing waitress and very helpful as this was my first time here. BBQ ribs were very moist and fell apart upon eating very tender and good but cornbread had jalapeños in it which was not said on the menu or by the waitress that was my only peeve everything else was wonderful. Thank you for such a great dining experience will be back.

Pulled pork is to die for, smashed potatoes and gravy are amazing, BBQ baked beans also really good. Didn’t care for the Mac n cheese, but it was decent. Server was running around busy but she was good. This is our new BBQ spot, it’s worth the drive

Always looks and taste delicious

We went on a Wednesday afternoon and practically had the place to ourselves. I had the bacon cheddar burger with onion rings. My husband had the 2 meat combo with baked beans and potato casserole. We got the loaded fries as an appetizer thanks to our awesome server's suggestion. Everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were so big that we struggled to finish our food. The service was so friendly and efficient. Even though we are just here for a few days while on vacation, I know we'll be back!

Ive been here twice and enjoyed everything both times. We ordered two combo BBQ platters. One brisket & chicken- sides of mac & cheese/ collard greens. One sausage/ pulled pork- side of cole slaw. Both were delicious. No complaints except how long the kitchen took to prepare the food but we were enjoying our time so it wasn't a problem.

They catered for our wedding and everything went great. Food was delicious and it went off without a hitch. Would recommend them to cater any event.
