Seems stuck in a past I have no desire to return to. Burnt coffee, trying to be Peets but without any personality.

I don't think there is WiFi at groundwork, but maybe if you ask the employees will know. There is nowhere to sit either. The beach parks have public WiFi. To The south in the ball courts and the city of Santa Monica to the north.
