Ground Central Coffee Company

Great coffee, fast service, and plenty of places to sit. Relatively busy, but a great place to work for a while, or meet with friends. Great decoration/atmosphere, but a bit cluttered. Feels trendy and like a local and unique spot. Variety of milk and non dairy milk at the coffee station.

First time coming to this coffee shop and it's absolutely the best in midtown. All of the baristas are super friendly. I ordered a mocha and it was superb. The chocolate chip cookies and scones are the best hands down. The music is really great. I think that it's a personal playlist. My friend ordered a gluten free lemon loaf and it had the perfect balance of moisture. The wifi isn't good but not a necessity as you can also connect to the free Public wifi. This place definitely beats Starbucks.

Coffee always tastes better out of a decent cup. Take a moment to drink in, and check out the awesome chalk art around the place. The music is always so loud here. Bring your noise canceling headphones if you plan to do anything meaningful. On the other hand they make pretty good espresso.

Amazing coffee! Super quiet since almost everyone had their heads down and headphones on. But the staff is so friendly. I went here after having dinner with family for my birthday and the staff was very accommodating to my grandma who mostly spoke Spanish. I got an macadamia nut milk cappuccino, my mom got a oat milk latte and my grandma got a cup of a little bit of coffee with mostly milk. Around the corner from my church, so I'll be here much more often

Was crowded and the wifi was spotty. Pretty bad for meeting a group but is serviceable for one or two people.

Affordable coffee price and good baristas

Latte was just ok - acceptable. I needed some place to take a few calls on a Thurs between 10 am and 12pm. It was really loud when I got there at 10am and was about to leave but decided to stay. Maybe I just got used to it or they did indeed turn it down because I was able to conduct (and hear) my calls. There is no wifi. I used my hotspot. I initially came here because the Starbucks across the street did not have any available seating.

Great environment, but not a "quiet coffee shop" if you'd like to just stop and do some work. Definitely more of a place to socialize.

Great coffee, extremely efficient service, cosy space - I had been looking for good coffee in Hell's Kitchen for some time, and hadn't found anything noteworthy, until I came across Ground Central. It's now my go to for my morning coffee.

High quality authentic coffee. Among the best if not the best coffee of Midtown West. Nice décor too.
