What an amazing experience the owner/cook is so friendly and knows the locals on such a wonderful level. I saw himself multiple times deliver people from local businesses their food. The guy at the front taking orders also adds a great personality to this humble cafe, down to earth and also friendly with every customer that walked through the door. On top of the atmosphere and customer service being top notch the food was delicious.

This is my go to spot for my daily coffee and breakfast. The food is fresh as is the coffee. The staff is always friendly, and remembers you by name. A good crepe is hard to find, and the French Press delivers as promised.

Crepes were expertly prepared and delicious. My table had a variety of sweet and savory crepes, all of which were outstanding. Coffee was quality too. Staff knows what they are doing. Definitely coming back here.

Great place great food great service

Best breakfast burrito in Albany Capital Region. Killer crepes, too!

Our experience was significantly below what you might expect from a restaurant with a 4.8 star rating (at the time of this writing.). Service was pretty slow for an empty restaurant. We had to grab silverware from a neighboring table since we weren't given any. My vegetarian daughter was served beef gravy on her fries, despite her request this be put on the side. No refills offered for my coffee. Plates not removed when our table became crowded with dishes. Which is fine I guess, but not five star fine.

With a name like French Press Café and Creperie, there are two very obvious things it needs to deliver on, and it really does. There are plenty of unique crepes on the menu, so everyone should be able to find something they like, and the fresh coffee beans are ground and pressed behind the counter. It's all made to order, and it's made well. The decor is aptly French, which makes for a nice cozy vibe, and the windows let in a lot of sun. Service was quick and personable, and I'm looking forward to another visit.

Absolutely excellent! First visit tried breakfast sandwich and coffee - upon describing my favorite hungry man hero from delis on Long Island their Ron Swanson breakfast burrito was recommended. It was sooo savory good, as well as excellent coffee, that I'm excited about going back soon.
