Griffith's Drive-In

I started visiting this place when it first came to Griffin as a teenager. It has always had excellent food and service. I suggest their scrambled dog which is the best I have ever had.

Good food and good people working there

I grew up in GRIFFIN and I remember going to Griffiths Drive in,not drive thru mind you, I remember going there as a little boy and being amazed how you got served, you know you pull up beside the menu board roll your window down,(yes we had to roll with a handle) and once my mom gets all the little screaming kids orders she would press the button on the board and magically someone would talk to her then after a few minutes someone would appear at the driver side door with a tray of food but the best part for me was they hung it on the window. as a kid that just was so cool. anyway I can't ever remember that icon in Griffin not being there, I know it used to be called A@W for many years before the previous owner bought it and thank God for him because he kept it from being closed down and that would have been a shame so thank you for that.. I know none of this has nothing to do with the service they have today but just remember whenever you pull up to the menu you pull up memories..
