Gregg's Restaurants

It was a Monday night and everything was closed in Providence, Rhode Island . So we decided to go there.They were nice and accommodating. Their server was extremely helpful and pleasant. He made sure we were well taken care of.We ordered Veggie burger with fries, chicken pot pie, steak tips and Buffalo chicken sandwich with seasoned fries.Portions were nice and filling. Food was good. After that we ordered the blueberry cheese cake and Hasbro special cake, which is a chocolate peanut butter cake, theses were huge and so delicious, rich in flavor and moist. But the waiter just went above and beyond the whole time we were there. This made the whole experience superb.

Gregg's is a restaurant that reminds me of my old family restaurants like the Ground Round. One exception is that it doesn't look like a dusty miner's lodge with a movie projector in it, instead, there is modern seating and a cheery feel.The location is awesome. It's right off the highway and usually the parking lot is more than half full.I didn't look at the menu, it was just time for drinks. The staff, though, were accommodating to the food needs of some of my compatriots. Kudos to the kitchen staff for there hard work right before closing.Drinks were good, service was good, so I have no complaints. No score for sustainability, so if you are looking to support green business, just be aware!

The service was ok but I hated my meal. I had the ham dinner and the ham tasted and had the texture of somn made from silicone. The company I was with said the food is generally good and they are regulars so, maybe I'll try something else on a next visit.

The death by chocolate cake is to die for.

I was actually surprised how good the food was! We've always gotten our holiday desserts there, which have always been excellent but the food and service made me want to come back and eat in again!

Absolutely enjoyed the food. The seafood was excellent! And the dessert was really top quality! Better than your cheesecake factory and other mainstream brands!

The fish was horrible Way to dry it seem like it was frozen. The scallops were not good at all wasn't even Crispy. But the waitress and the customer service beautiful.

They have the BEST tasting Fish and Chips that I have ever had!

This place was pretty good. I only went for drinks, but was told the wings were OUT OF THIS WORLD. And they absolutely were! Great service, great drinks, great crowd. Nice setting. I had a good time. I'd recommend stopping by if you want a quick or light lunch. They had an awesome menu at the bar. Oh and the TVs we're mounted into the ceiling wall. Not on the wall. Into the wall. That was just a nice touch.

Gregg's is a fantastic place to eat. All the servers were friendly and the food was delicious.

5-stars as a nice diner. Broad menu, pleasant atmosphere, efficient service. Had a turkey dinner for $15 - good, basic food that was welcome after a long day of family vacation driving. Serves drinks also.

Always enjoy coming here when in the area. We had the Summer grilled chicken with pesto, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes with balsamic reduction and 2 sides. Other couple had the Sunday turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, peas, butternut squash, stuffing and gravy. All were served hot and were delicious! Friendly, efficient server. Great housemade rolls and house made pickles. Unfortunately no room for their amazing desserts. Next time!
