Wow, absolutely phenomenal. Incredibly fresh, self caught fish. Helpful happy staff, good prices, great food. This place is a must go for any fish lover. Don't pass this little jem up!

The service here was great and the staff friendly. Some of the best fried softshell crabs I've had. My wife had the tuna tamale and loved it. Prices were fair and the food was very good.

Really clean place and great concept. I ordered the seafood fried rice. Unfortunately it tasted only of coconut oil. The bottom of the dish was 1/4 inch of coconut oil. I was not able to eat more than a few pieces of tuna. After hearing great reviews I left disappointed. I give three stars for friendliness, cleanliness, and concept. As well as only dining there once at this time.Edit, I went back and ordered something else. It was a tuna poke sushi wrap as well as some of their soup. Everything was absolutely excellent. I will definitely be back.

Hands down my favorite pit stop for lunch on the beach. They've introduced me to new fish that I had never had before (sugar toads & black tip shark). Their mixed seafood fried rice is the absolute best during cold weather months. Highly recommended!

My husband and I went in to check out this market. The young lady at the counter was extremely nice and offered for me and my husband to try some of the food before purchasing. Even though I do not eat any seafood whatsoever, I would highly recommend anyone that does to stop in. Very laid-back atmosphere, very kind employees, and exceptional service. Will definitely return when we come back to the Outer Banks to vacation for me personally to say hello and for my husband to get more seafood.

Delicious, generous portions prepared perfectly. Had the tuna bites lo mein with med rare tuna bites. Great flavorful crust and a generous portion of tuna in the bowl. The soy ginger sauce was delicious, veggies crisp and fresh. Also had the shrimp dumplings. Very good with a little spice. Wife had the crab cake sandwich. Toasted corn was a great touch. Super friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit

We had a great dinner from Greentails! We ordered a fried shrimp basket with potatoes and coleslaw. The shrimp were enormous and so fresh. The hush puppies were excellent and the potatoes were great - especially the malt vinegar dipping sauce. My husband had the tuna sandwich special and it was flavorful and delicious. The tuna was cooked perfectly. We shared the traditional poke bowl which was also good - looking forward to trying the spicy version on our next visit. And I had the rice noodles with fried shrimp, cabbage and an Asian sauce - surprisingly excellent! On top of that, everything was ready quickly and we felt the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. We are already looking forward to going back! Happy to hear they’re planning to be open most of the winter season, too!

Amazing!! Delicious local seafood, friendly service, and great prices! It really doesn't get any better! We will be returning again before we go back home. Maybe we will go every day of vacation!

Just finished my first meal from this place and I gotta say what a hidden gem. I got a jerk swordfish dish w/ a corncake and fried plantains. Finding swordfish is hard itself not to mention someone who knows how to cook it! I also sampled the smoked fish dip, the poke, shrimp dip, and the hot and sour shrimp soup. And let me tell ya you can tell that they love there ingredients and the preparation of them. If you walked in blindfolded and ate here you wouldn't question that this was fine dining. They just decided to serve it in a very warm and friendly atmosphere. I wanted to order some things for a christmas eve party (so I could take credit ;p). And for them to tell me they couldn't because they can't guarantee what would be fresh that morning speaks to the integrity of this place. I hope they become very popular because I might be heartbroken if this place wasn't around anymore.

The freshest seafood in town! Everything we tried was amazing. Make sure to add an order of crab hush puppies and to get a side of collard greens.

Excellent local seafood and incredible softshell sandwich (the softshell bahn mi should not be missed!)
