Green elephant is amazing. Wonderful vegetarian and vegan menu with many delicious Asian inspired options. Good rotation of fresh specials. I wish cocktails could be served here to add to the delicious food. Make sure you try the one in Portsmouth too!

Food was amazing. Everything was well seasoned and you can choose the spice level. Basic still has good seasoning and little heart but still excellent. Lots of variety and everything was delicious

Highly recommend! I visited Portland last year and liked Green Elephant so much I had to come again on my next visit. It's a vegetarian paradise.

This place was so good we ended up eating here twice on our trips. Both times we ordered multiple appetizers off the menu and some rice to enjoy a variety, and it was the best choice! Our server Grace was attentive to us and assisted us with menu choices while also taking care of a party. Don’t pass this up if you’re looking for vegetarian options on your trip!

Food is always exceptional. Going to start working through the menu. Haven't had a bad thing yet!

I had Panang curry, if I am not mistaken it should have had eggplant in it but I didn't notice it. Either way it was very tasty. My wife had a dish with a lot of mushrooms, I can't remember the name of the dish. She felt that it was a bit bland, my taste test agreed. The service was excellent.

Amazing vegetarian restaurant. I have yet to eat anything here that I haven't liked. Highly recommended.

The seating, service and friendliness of the sever was excellent and the leaf wraps were amazing! We are definitely returning!

Fantastic vegan and vegetarian! I don't recall the name of what I ate but enjoyed the heck out of it! Great atmosphere. Terrific herbal, green and black teas. We did share a mushroom tempura with soy dipping sauce which was a huge and delicious app! Just go.😉
