Greenbow's Southern Cuisine

Good little homey diner for weary travelers or campers who want a nice hot breakfast. We liked it so much the first time we actually went back a second time with our family. However, the second time they ran out of seating and we had to wait for others to finish first before we could sit down, that was a little awkward. But the food's pretty decent, service is good, I hear the coffee is awesome but I did not indulge.

I eat here several times a week. The staff is very friendly. The food is always delicious, hot and cooked just as I order it. I feel like I am eating with family. The menu has many types of items from breakfast items like omelets, waffles, biscuits, country ham to sandwiches such as the club, juicy burgers and Philly cheese steak. Breakfast is always perfect. The Western Omelet is my favorite with fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. They do a wonderful job with cooking the bacon just like you order it.There are daily specials too. The chicken and dumplings are homemade like my grandma made them. Sometimes they have pot roast, with a rich thick sauce. They always have a wide variety of sides such as Waldorf salad, cherry salad, millionaire salad, lima beans, fried okra, sweet potato fries and so much more. The desserts are homemade also. Wonderful place to eat and spend time.

This is an awesome little restaurant. Delicious food and friendly staff. What a menu! Try it you'll like it. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Good friendly atmosphere and good food

I had the lunch special of vegetable beef soup and egg salad sandwich. Both were very good.The service was especially good. One of the owners was on hand and posed with some of the staff for photos, which I posted to Google maps.

Everything comes out of a can or a box except the eggs. Nothing has natural flavor, just salty tin can flavor. Such a shame.

Friendly neighborhood diner-type place, good menu specials that they once in a while run out, comfort foods

Only offered more coffee when theycould see I was through. My coffee cup was empty for 10 minutes or more and I was at the counter with waitresses going by.. The tables were full or nearly full . I saw the waitresses being very busy.

Good cheap food. Friendly service. Laid back atmosphere

The atmosphere is okay, but there were flies everywhere. I was swatting them away in between bites. The food was mediocre at best- dry buns that fall apart, sauce that needed ketchup added, and sour pasta salad. On top of that, the wait staff was rude and not once were we asked if our food was okay. The only thing that was worth eating was the French fries.

Very down home feel. The food was incredible. Really large portions and not at all expensive. Was in town visiting a friend and I may suggest breakfast there the next time I'm in town as well.
