Love this place!

This is the absolute coolest little tavern. It seems like it is out in the middle of nowhere, but it’s not, it’s just dark outside. This is a locals tavern, but I’m telling you they are the friendliest and most social locals you’ve met. Owners and staff are incredible! And the food is sooo good. Before Corona hit, we had the best prime rib dinner! When you walk in, the lighting is perfect. Not too bright and not too dim. You can see people and talk. When you walk in, you are treated like an old friend. If you’re lucky, you might just hit the right night to hear J.D.Miller and (a few of the) Broken Heart Rodeo. Jorden and his band play old-time honky-tonk. Some Friday or Saturday evening around 7 pm or so, Jordan and a couple of his bandmates will stop in and play for a few hours. They’re good and they are a very fun band!

I stop every time I drive by, great atmosphere and service. The owners are wonderful people.

Stopped at the tavern after a long trip in the car. Before going inside my boyfriend i were stretching our legs, and grabbed our old soda cups to throw away, the woman, Im assuming she was the owner came out and stared at us as if we were doing something wrong. we asked if there was an outside trash to throw away our cups, she rudly said No! And continued to stare watching us for at least 10 minutes. We decided just to drive on. There was ZERO reason to treat us like that and to watch us.

I have always enjoy the fun loving, family friendly environment this little gem provides!! Not only does Viv, aka mom, make some great homestyle cook’n, but the country setting brings me home every time I visit. Whether you’re looking for a cold brew after a long hot day or a damn good steak, this is must see, taste, and indulge kinda place!! Keep up the great work guys there’s not many places like this left!!!!
