Locally owned business. Friendly staff and environment. In addition to typical pharmacy products and services, there is a lunch counter. The service, food, and staff are excellent.. The items on the menu are reasonably priced.It has been there for many years. I highly recommend it.

The grilled pimento cheese sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato was delicious but pricey. $7 with tax. They are known for their old time feel serving burgers and old fashioned shakes.

Mr. Box and his staff are simply the best. They are the definition of customer service. They treat you like family. Not to mention, they have the BEST burger in town:)

Good sandwiches

Best hamburger steak I've ever had! Service was great as well. Haven't been here in 25 years and they are just as good as I remember. Prices are cheaper than most fast food. So worth the visit!

It’s hard to beat the soda fountain! Such a good burger and fries.

I've been coming here for lunch since I was a kid and now I bring mine. It's an awesome place with great food and old fashioned shakes.

Classic excellence

This is the most awesome place in Birmingham!! I have been tradingwith them for many, many years. They have the friendliest staff you have EVER dealt with. One day while picking up my prescriptions, i did not have enough cash. I asked the young Lady to hold onto one, as I had been thrua "Tough" Month and low on money. She,(a college student) Sneaked and took her own money and paid for my medicine. I am a 52 year old 325LB.man, I have to admit, I broke down and cried. The crazy thing is, I believe all of Bills employees would have done it! And, there is no way I can write this review, and not mention the incredible FOOD! Yes, BEST Hamburgers and Home made Shakes in Birmingham. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!

AWESOME! Even has an old time fountain where one can sit and have lunch! I heard it's wonderful! Great Staff!

I really enjoyed my visit to the Green Valley Drug soda fountain. Their burgers are for adults who desire that old-fashioned taste of quality and substance. I recommend their milkshakes as well. If you're in a hurry, you won't have time to fully experience what makes this little restaurant unique. Go when you have time to talk to the women who work behind the counter and observe the other patrons come and go...you'll discover why they have so many regulars who've been coming back for years. The restaurant isn't open on the weekend and it closes at 3 pm during the week.
