About

Our menu reflects classic English dishes that have been influenced by the days of the British colonies in India; where colonists learned to appreciate the many spices and curries that soon worked their way back to England and onto the supper tables. So sit back, relax, have a pint and prepare to experience a menu for which the Brits would gladly cross the Atlantic! We have a main floor with a bar that is first come first serve seating and we also have an upstairs dining room that takes reservations Wednesdays through Saturdays. We have a large outdoor deck on the ground floor and a small balcony deck on the upper floor that each offer seating for dining.Saturday and Sunday we open at 10am for Brunch which is served until 3pm.Every month we have a new monthly menu on top of our everyday core menu. We also offer Daily Soups, Daily Chef Specials and a Dessert!Every month we host a beer and food pairing dinner; 39 seats available for $35/person, 5 courses all focused on one brewery!!!!

BRUNCH REVIEWCame here for brunch with a big group on a Saturday morning. This is an English Pub/Restaurant with the England flags draped on the railing and the European soccer playing on the TVs (as well as the TV in the bathroom so you don't miss any action). This place had a lot of unique tongue in cheek menu items including The Ron Swanson. I didn't go with that as I am not a huge bacon guy so I went with the breakfast burrito which is HUGE and comes packed with eggs, beer bacon. cheese, fried potatoes, and veggies. It's also covered with chorizo gravy.Everyone at my table said I was the ordering winner because what I ordered looked the best and I might have to agree. This wasn't the best brunch experience I've ever had but it was very tasty and filled me up so if I'm back in town, I would go back.

What a fun night! While waiting for some friends, my wife and I were welcomed with a well rounded draught beer list with many local options. It was a college football Saturday and there were plenty of screens to watch your favorite team. I ordered the "Ron Burgundy " and it was very tasty. A little light on salt, but the depth of flavor was evident. The pearl onions were sweet along side a red wine reduced beef. Not chewy in the least, and sat atop a creamy bed of mashed potatoes. Very casual atmosphere with a great list of adult beverages, and flavorful food.

The food and service were phenomenal, and the beer selection is fantastic! The atmosphere is really neat. There are soccer banners hanging all over and there are plenty of TVs playing all sorts of sports.

Questions & Answers

In the past I've seen it around May. About in time for seasonal goods/foods. It might be different this year. That's what I love about this place, they keep you on the edge off your seat.

Yes. It can get rather loud and over stimulating, though, if your children are sensitive to that.

I hate to say it, but their fish and chips are nothing special. I'm English and I love good fish and chips but prepare to potentially be disappointed, especially considering the price you pay. I know it's supposed to be and English pub but it's really quite Americanized. Definitely give it a shot if you want, I hope I'm wrong and their fish and chips are better. But the last 3 time's I've gotten it, I have been disappointed.

Private lot next door. Plainfield has no close on street parking.

I don't know that there's a specific gluten free menu, but I had the Carriage House Beef and that was a gluten free meal. Marinated beef on top of mashed potatoes and roasted root veggies. It was delicious.

I just had it yesterday, so yes.
