Imagine a place where vegan food is a culture in itself and meals become a truly social experience. Fresh, local and choice ingredients are poised to excite and tantalize the senses. Parings, at once daring and exotic, are both comforting and familiar. Our French style cuisine is rich in olive oil, fresh cress, and marinated veggies. Color is crucial; after all your eyes begin the feast. We are also delighted when children (our hardest customers to please) enjoy our food and sometimes, while biting into a velvet carrot or red meat radish, seem to be imagining it was concocted in witch’s kitchen. We work with suppliers at the Jean Talon market as well as with Le jardinier du Chef. All of them have a real passion for growing the best herbs and greens. Going to Grannyssima is like visiting family, and every patron becomes part of the Grannyssima family. Guests are encouraged to offer menu suggestions and new ideas.
