Grand Shanghai Restaurant

Location: this restaurant is located at Pell St, the heart of Chinatown. I had a doctor appointment in Chinatown this weekend and had to grab a quick lunch in the area. Very easy to find the spot.Food: Highly recommend trying their scallion pancakes and crabmeat soup dumplings. Their scallion pancakes are the best I’ve ever had in NYC! It has the perfect crisp edges yet also a chewy texture. Environment: the restaurant is very clean and has comfortable seating. Their big round tables are perfect for group gathering. Price: GSH is very affordable consider the food portion and quality. I also got a free order of pork soup dumplings since they are running a grand opening promotion. Service: I got seated immediately the moment I walked into the restaurant. The waiters walked around to make sure everything was ok. I will definitely go back when I’m in Chinatown again.
