I never was there.

I admire this venue a lot. It has a special mood. The food is tasty. the service is powerful and the crew is trained. The price is modest. I definitely recommend.

This place is the best Chinese bbq in all of SFL. Great flavor, quality and prices.

In a non-descript shopping center is the unofficisl "asia town" of Tamarac. Those in the know won't go to the north end of the shopping center with the asian crocery store, bakery, and restaurant. They will go to the south end where a simple sign that says "Chinese BBQ" is the only announcement of some of the best meats around. The honey roasted pork is phenomenal in its fatty juicy tender meat, and dipping it in the thick syrupy sauce elevates it to another level. The whole roasted duck is juicy and flavorful. Love this hidden gem!

First time there today and the food is awesome will be coming back.

Absolutely best crispy pork, roast duck and chicken. All with side dishes. Whole or half pig is great for parties.

What great place, the smell of Chinese bbq is delicious. I got the triple special- crispy duck, honey pork and soy chicken. Portion size was very good and the price is great. This is such an easy call for picking up dinner to bring home. It's a change of taste that many people don't immediately think of when hungry but what a treat it is to eat. So tasty!

this is a hole in the Wall Chinese location. It's not a restaurant. It's the Chinese version of a quick serve deli, you can grab all kinds of barbecue or roasted meats and have them served with rice and assorted vegetables. They also serve dumplings and various meat filled buns or tarts. it's not fancy and it's not your normal Chinese place, but more of a street food quick bite type of establishment. for the area it's one of the few places you can go for this kind of food so this makes it a rare specialized location.

This is the best place for Chinese BBQ pork and roast duck. You have to come and give it a try. This place is alwys busy. Note, the store is clozed on Wednesday and it's a cash only place.

If you like crispy pork or Peking duck this place is worth the drive. It's just a tiny hole in the wall but if you want authentic Chinese BBQ, this is the place for take out. Bring cash, they don't take credit

Gou Lou Cheong is as good as any Chinese barbecue I've eaten in New York or Toronto. There isn't really any restaurant seating; business is cash and carryout. The honey glazed pork is excellent; you can order fat or lean-trimmed. The duck, soy sauce chicken and crispy pork are also delicious. I always get the duck hearts and gizzards when available, as this makes a great addition to soups for lunch, or just for nibbling on. Other more exotic meats (tongue, squid, duck feet, tripe, etc.) are available. Buns and dumplings are made at other local shops; these are also worthwhile.

The place serves big portions and for convenient pricing. welcoming staff members. They never disappoint.
