Fan of the one in Uptown and love this one, too.

Sushi tastes amazing! The staff is always very courteous and often smiling.

Must try! These hand rolls are made fresh with warm rice. Tried all the varieties on the menu and they're pretty good. Favorite is the lobster roll :) Yumm!

We just happened to find this gem on our way back to our airbnb accommodation from Jefferson Park bus/train station. All small items are $2.95 and so far it is a pretty good price for the high quality they offer.

I stumbled upon Gorilla Sushi after getting off at the Jefferson Park Transit Station. I ordered a few rolls, miso soup and hot tea and walked away satisfied. I was surprised that my bill was so low. I recently returned with my daughter and we ordered a variety of dishes and kept ordering more until we were full. Again, when the check arrived, we commented that we would have paid double at any other sushi bar. Needless to say, we will be back. Not only for the value but also for the friendly staff and tasty food.

Great sushi and amazing prices. We order from here at least 2-3 times a week. The volcano roll is our favorite. Every item from the regular menu is $2.95, but they also have specialty rolls you can order. I like the Mexican roll that had cilantro and jalepenos in it. Always a great meal here.

This place was a pleasant Surprise a friend recomended ... Its basically a tapas bar a Sushi tapas bar ... Los of small plates of good sushi rolls mostly 4-6 medallions per plate. great for casual dates or out with friends get a whole bunch of plates and share ... The serve salads and miso soup if you tag them on facebook the soup is free no liquor is sold there ... Nice decor . oh yea the staff is good and efficient and the service is fast so yeah i give it 2 thumbs up ...

We had an extraordinary time in this restaurant. We loved the wonderful atmosphere and the menu. The staff members are super welcoming. I am content we eventually decided to visit here.

It was fine. I don't know why but we were waiting for Nederland rolls about 30 min. Service was nice, it's cheap

Love it! I was a little apprehensive given how cheap it is, but what a great deal. The quality of the sushi is the same as everywhere else in town, but it’s so much cheaper. Also, the delivery is super quick! The food always comes earlier than expected.Update: This place let me down a few times recently, both in terms of the food quality and the service. They were understaffed during one of my visits. Our waitress, who had been working by herself, was visibly stressed. The philly roll, which is my go-to, had tougher salmon than I usually like.
