Gordos Mexican Food

My wife and I went here after meeting one of the owners at another Vegan Restaurant on the island. Let me tell you, some of the best FOOD we had on the island. Not just the best 'vegan' food, but the best food. We had one of everything on the menu. You want amazing? Get the vegan horchata with your vegan nachos. 1000/10 would recommend.

Love all the vegan options and that they make their own vegan sour cream and vegan cheese and even vegan horchata from scratch and not processed foods. A little on the salty side but they definitely are hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had on Oahu. And the vegan options are plentiful and impressive!

Just had the wet burrito which was amazing. Also got regular burrito and street tacos that were good, but not best ever kine.

Pretty good! Horchata was excellent, more on the creamy side, which I like 10/10 The Pineapple Orange Fresca was also good 8/10. Had the Vegan carnitas taco plate w rice and beans 7.5/10. Queen had the vegan carnitas California burrito, which was delicious 9/10. Customer service was great, and the inside was clean with a friendly ambiance. I do plan on returning!

Carnitas Nachos and their hot sauce is 100% worth it. My wife really enjoined her vegan burrito with the vegan Carnitas. If your near by definitely worth having a meal here! I also got the horchata, and no surprise, also really good.

Ordered several items on the vegan menu and everything was excellent. My family, even the non-vegans, were fighting over the street tacos. This will definitely be a regular spot for us. So happy to have this in Waialua!

Best burrito on the north shore

Haven't been to this area since early last year and discovered this awesome place for Mexican food. Had the chips and salsa, burrito (very filling) and a horchata drink. All were excellent and will be back again!

The food was delicious!! The beans and rice can’t be beat!! Will definitely be back again! Highly recommend!

The vegan options are solid and pretty tasty. The cashier guy was a little bit standoff-ish but fine.

It’s a new hidden gem! Native Latinos in Hawaii missing our native flavors. Very cozy place and the decoration is beatiful... prices are very reasonable but wait the food is the best!!! Thanks for treating my craving..
