Love the Batali. One of the best sandwiches in the city. Take some time and check out Enoteca downstairs. Indulge in the BOGO Oysters and 99 cent High Lifes on Mondays!

Ordered the Batali or whatever it's called. This sandwich was swimming in so much grease that I feel I might've aged by 40 years during lunchtime. There was so much oil the US army would've invaded it. The grease leaked through the paper bag and soiled my day. Sandwich was tasty, however. Just an insane amount of grease.

For a more local experience, head north of downtown near Fall Creek (an actual creek) to a neighborhood called Fall Creek Place. There's a small strip of businesses including this local market. Here's what's to love:1) Space: It's an actual market known for its deli. You can also buy a few other locally made items and the there's a beer/wine cellar (with seating) in the basement that you can't miss. Upstairs, there's outdoor seating and window seating for guests. There's a bathroom in the back.2) Food: It all is amazing, but I recommend the batali sandwich for lunch. It's packed with meats and cheeses and is a well down sandwich. It's not massive, but does fill you up. If you want a more local experience, head here!

Absolutely loved this place. The store has a large selection with some local finds and some non local. Their meat is the first thing to come for while their bread and alcohol is what to stay for. I like that there are sitting area for you to enjoy your sandwich or gelato. This is a market that allows you to come in for multiple reasons. I can’t wait to come back again for more things to try like their coffee/Gelato! I also appreciate that they have military discount, along with sales on items that are well displayed.

What a cool place! Loved the staff both upstairs in the deli and downstairs in the wine cellar/tasting bar. We got sandwiches to eat downstairs and to take with us for later on our wine tasting bus.

I ordered flank steak through their Mercado portal and when I realized I needed more for the weekend, I added another order. When I came to pick up the meat, the butcher came out and explained how he arranged my order as one. Was really impressed with the meat and how they accommodated my additional order. Great staff and a great choice for meat and sandwiches.

Ordered the platter royale for Valentine’s Day. I have have charcuterie boards from a Goose the Market before and they have been delicious. Unfortunately I was very underwhelmed with the $120 platter. Very limited selection of their meats and cheeses and no accompanying crackers to go with the patte. The macaroons were on the platter with the meats and cheese and were soggy. Overall just expected much more for the price and from a place that I know has great food.

I've only had the sandwiches, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Great looking selection of other items.

Tasty and reasonably priced for the quality ingredients. Made to order sandwiches take 10 minutes but there will likely be a wait if you visit around lunchtime. The deli selection is top notch, with offerings heavy on cured pork in many varieties. The wine and beer is found downstairs in the "cellar." Selection is good, but prices are premium.
