Goody Goody Burgers

One of my favorite diner spots in Tampa. I've been here about 10-12 times, and each time I've had great food! The classic burger POX is a good go-to, but I reccomend the fried chicken sandwich, hangover plate, Johnny breakfast sandwich, and shrimp po' boy as well. In terms of sides, both the onion rings and fries are well-seasoned and taste fresh. For dessert, there's the butterscotch pie, which is a unique, sweet dessert, but the other pies and milkshakes are great options as well. The prices are reasonable for the area, as nothing is over $15 or $16 and most items are between $7-$11.Overall, Goody Goody is a Tampa landmark and a great casual option in Hyde Park.

I've been waiting to try this reborn Tampa Icon for a long time, eating at the airport location doesn't count. The hype was so high and the lines were so long. All of it was totally justified! Thank you to the Gonzmart's every restaurant in your portfolio is amazing. Goody Goody Burgers is by far and away the best burger joint in Tampa since Jimmy Mac's!

Goody goody is a great place to get a meal when you can't decide. Its menu isn't extensive, but its all classic comfort food. The breakfast is amazing, as are the burgers. The pies and desserts are great too. Best part is you can sit on the patio with your dog. We have been going here for years and its consistently great.

Great burgers, great prices. I see why people wait an hour to get in (we waited an hour, lol). Orange sodas, cheese fries, and the perfect-sized burger. The food was definitely worth the wait. I’m really sad we didn’t get dessert but there’s no way I could eat anything else. They looked delicious, though!

The chicken at Goody Goody was cooked perfectly; flavorful and crispy! For the price the plate sizes were right on. I left feeling full, but not stuffed which is great. The French fries were crispy and fresh and the cole slaw was on point. We sat at the bar area, so the atmosphere was like a fast pace diner and had extremely friendly staff! Comfy inside seating, with an outdoor patio as well (welcomes dogs). Will definitely be back and recommend!!

Read that this was a great spot in Tampa to visit as it is a local staple. I ordered the Hyde Park burger and my husband ordered the original. Both were good but not great. They were room temperature; not hot. Also, priced was high for a burger with no fries... seven dollars.

Walk back In time at Goody Goody in South Tampa. Mama Dawn (hostess with the mostest) greeted me with a cheerful smile asking where I would like to sit. My server, Shameka, was quick and on the ball. And the part you all want to hear about is the gigantic pancake served with banana foster syrup. It was surprising and mouth watering. Great vibes and pricing!

Mama Dawn was who seated us and made everything sound delicious. Everything was very good at dinner and can't wait to try their all day breakfast items!

Very nice diner style eatery. I sat at the bar and Sasha was very friendly and helpful with menu item descriptions. Affordable prices.

We found this little diner while staying in Tampa. I have to say I can’t remember when I’ve had a better fried chicken, biscuit and gravy breakfast. It was so delicious. Our server was wonderful, very nice and Easter to help us. The restaurant has a pretty cool ambiance as well which is also very clean! Goody Goody also has a big history in the Tampa area. I’m glad that that someone found it’s history worth while and brought it back.

The wait time is always too long the waitress too to long taking our order but the food was good

The prices are not out of line.This is a wonderful place to get a burger! The fries are yummy and the orangeade is addictive, it is so good!!

In the past year, I've been to Goody Goody Burgers 4 times (I don't eat meat very often). Without hesitation, I say they have the best burger / cheeseburger in Tampa.

Every single thing we ordered and ate was amazing! Burgers, delicious. Onion rings, superb. Fried chicken, to die for. The BEST part was the wonderful hospitality from Mama Dawn! If you are in Tampa, and you are hungry....head here!
