Good Hope Jamaican Restaurant

The food is horrible. Uncooked rice. The meat is tough. I just had to toss away the food. Am very disappointed. This is the 2nd time this happened to me. Am never buying food from this restaurant again.

Caribbean restaurants are saturated in Brooklyn and often times it's hard to acquire a favorite. What I look for is good food and even better service. Good Hope delivers just that. The food tastes just like home and the service is so warm and almost family like. This alone is a stand out. Ms. Plum the server is quite wonderful in customer service and definitely has gained a faithful customer just from service alone.

These people don’t cook fresh food me and my family ended up in the er with food poisoning from this restaurant.

The taste

I haad the macaronni pie(mac & cheese) and their seasoned shrimp since i am not eating red meats or chicken anymore. It was delicious but if you can't handle alot of pepper avoid the shrimp. lol. But it was tastey.

Grill food are awesome in this place

I really love their food. I always get good service there. The place is well kept and the employees are always helpful. I highly recommend this place.

The cashier has a disgusting attitude and is very rude. She doesn’t know how to talk to people and honestly makes me not want to come back there just so I don’t have to see her face. No greeting what’s so ever just a angry looking face. When I ordered my food she try to charged me additionally for cabbage mind you cabbage comes with the meal so I don’t know what she’s doing. The food is nothing special but if she’s still going to be there when I go for my lunch break I rather go eat with my coworkers at footprints better service🙄

Good food, needs management. Servers are nasty. I don't think they want to be there ☹️

Well, worth it! For $27 we got: stew salmon and a small curry shrimp and a bottle 9f ginger beer. Both meals came with peas & rice, salad, plantain and avocado. Any gravy that you want.

First time visiting there, it was highly recommend by my staff and clients. I enjoyed the dish I ordered, and plan to return again.
