Golden Nugget

A hidden gem. The host and waitress were very friendly and nice! I had the strawberry crepes (warm compote ones).....and.....they were, out of this world, delicious!!!! I've never tasted a crepe like this before. They were the best I've ever had, hands down. And....it looked so awesome.... I almost didn't eat them b/c they looked so pretty! Thank you Golden Nugget for the hospitality and food!

It's been a really long time since I've come to Golden nugget. When my husband asked what I wanted to eat tonight I was stumped. It was pass 10 pm on a Thursday. We had riding the motorcycle, and frankly I wasn't even sure what suburb we were in. We have eaten out so much of late that I was sick of usual takeout fare. Nothing I would be interested in would open at that hour. I kind of wanted home cooking. It was far to late for me cook even if I was back home. Thinking hard I said Golden Nugget or Denny's. My husband decided on Golden Nugget it was closer to home. I wanted this particular Golden Nugget because I remembered they had a great 2 layered chocolate cake. I took my time looking over the menu. It had changed since I last went there, and selection was plenty and varied. I opted for breakfast and my husband had a skillet. The service was...meh. The food was good, the place clean. Of course, I took some cake home with me. By the way, they have crepes at this location.
