Golden Corral

It was not what I had expected. It was pricy, not much of a selection for a vegetarian or vegan, the pizza tasted like cardboard and was dry (according to my 13 year old grandson), not all of the items were fresh or changed out often for fresh items. The staff looked unhappy and appeared to dislike their jobs. I don't plan on going back.

You have to pay a higher dinner price because they offer steak and ribs only they try their best to make these items unavailable for you. There were 2 ribs on the buffet not two racks, two bones. And there was 1 probably 6 ounce piece of steak cooking on the lowest possible temperature. I used to love this place but they are quickly going down hill. I don't mind the higher dinner price but please have the items available to us.

If you want a good, hot, square meal, hop on down to your closest Golden Corral. Great buffet style restaurant with salad bar, dessert bar, and various meats and vegetables. If you ever leave this place hungry it's your own fault.

Very poor service. We had to 3 times before they gave us our drinks. Had to call someone again before got drink refills. Lots of empty trays and food were cold. Will definitely not go back again.

Dirty water glass, corn on the cob was cold, pulled pork was so dry out could not be chewed, pork steak was 90% fat, chocolate cake was dry, most of the buffet was truly inedible. Even the water was bad! This San Jose Blvd Golden Corral was only slightly better than the Blanding location which was over rated as a one star. We may try the Southside location, maybe not. The Memorial Park location earned a five star and we'll likely go back there. My advise, avoid San Jose and Blanding Ave locations.

I took my 97 year-old mother out for lunch last week the food was fresh appetizing and had a lot to choose from you always get your money's worth and then some

I REFUSE TO BRING MY FAMILY TO A GOLDEN CORRAL EVER AGAIN THANKS TO THIS LOCATION. WHY YOU ASK? 1. The waitress took almost 10 minutes to greet and bring us drinks. 2.The cooks were rude to my husband when he simply asked if they were going to bring out more rice. 3. The chicken was not cooked all the way. I'm so happy that we look at our food before we eat. And that I didn't give any to my daughter. I wish I could add a picture to this just to show y'all.

Very attentive staff. Good food selection. Got there at transition stage to lunch. Chilli was burnt. The rest of the food items were fine. Love the tacos but wish they would shred the lettuce instead of having chunks from the salad bar. Hadn't been there in a while. It was a nice change to my normal restaurant selection.

Pretty typical Golden Corral. The food is decent, lots of it. The service is nice and the restaurant is clean if a little old looking at places.Great place if you want lots of food to fill your belly and a nice variety too.They do have pretty good fried chicken and I do admit a love for their hushpuppies with a bit of butter on them.Fast service since it's a buffet too.I eat to much here.

Steaks are always tough it seems but otherwise great selection.

Food was better than the last few times I have been here. A big difference was that the breading on the fried chicken was not too salty. Also, all food was at a good temperature.

Food was good and fresh. They received three bus loads with less than an hour notice. Good job.

Always a good cheap place to bring the family out to eat. We have six people to feed and when everyone wants something different Golden Corral is great. This location was pretty good. They were a little low on meats when we went but that really only affected the adults.

Waitress was really good, the food generally was pleasant enough. Many choices of what to eat. For buffett style food it wasn't half bad.

Went to this location for dinner Sunday with my family and spent over $150.00. There was no food out and when we asked the staff they said there wasn’t many people so they were going to wait to bring more out. Salad bar had no toppings, all the food that was out was dry, chocolate fountain was broken, ice cream machine broken! When we informed the manager Diana she brushed it off and didn’t listen to our concerns. We will never return to this location again.😡
