I ordered a shrimp fried rice in the shrimp fried rice. I had 3 pieces search shrimp. I ordered general Chow and ended up with sweet and showered chicken. The food the chicken was nothing but batter. I would not suggest you eat the news place ever to anyone

NEVER AGAIN! Rather than driving to my normal Chinese restaurant, read the Golden City reviews on Google and decided to try it. Ordered Chow Mein and Shrimp Fried Rice carryout. When entering the restaurant, was hit with a pungent order (similar to bad seafood). Approached the counter. Waited almost 5 minutes for someone to show. Got my food and left. As I walked into the house, noticed the bag was soggy. Removed the contents, and found all of the Chow Mein gravy in the bottom of bag (normal restaurants place the carton inside a plastic bag to avoid this). Placed Chow Mein on my plate. Found large shrimp (GOOD) that still had the shell on the tail (BAD). Tasted the Chow Mein and was left with an after taste similar bad fish adn celery that has gone bad. At 10:30PM, too late to return for a $15.64 refund. Attempted to throw away but my "garbage disposal hubby" decided to eat it. Needless to say, he now has DIARRHEA!! LESSONS LEARNED! Folks, always choose Chinese Restaurants carefully!!

Since the pandemic this place has really went down. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place. Shrimp fried rice didn't taste the same. Everything was scorched and very greasy

We were hesitant solely on the fact that Chinese restaurants are a hit or mis, depending on your taste, but we were very pleased with the overall quality and amount of food we got, we will definitely be ordering again!

Food was decent at best in the past, but as of the last year or so, quality of food has declined. Chicken tastes like old chicken nuggets drenched in fake sauce and the egg rolls taste old and dry. I do not recommend the food here anymore and have found a new Chinese place in town that is leaps and bounds better than this place. The people here are nice at least, but I doubt they care about their customers or the quality of their products.

This is one of my favorite places to get chinese food and the people are very friendly

I haven't found a good Chinese restaurant in years I stumble upon this restaurant out shopping and wow they got the best shrimp fried rice ever.

Carry out only its being remodeled I had relatives in from out of town .this is the freshest carry out we have ever had the jumbo shrimp is truely jumbo we purchased several different meals everyone was blown away by the flavor do yourself a favor treat yourself at this restaurant reasonable prices I would give it 6 stares if I could

The food was good,the service was fast and friendly the price was good. The resturant its self is in desperate need of repair and update it smelled damp and musty

The new owners are doing great! Every dish I have tried has been 5 star! The portions are large and delicious! Keep up the great work!

Everything I have ever ordered form here is amazing. I only ever ate in once but the staff was really nice :)
