Food was overcooked. Skimpy ingredients. Not fresh. Strange odour when opening dishes. Four of us did not enjoy what we ordered at all. During night and next morning we felt sick.Avoid Golden Capital. Used to be very good. New owners ... decline in quality and cooking very apparent. Customer service if there is a problem non- existent.We were extremely disappointed. Went back next day to complain and was treated like a criminal. Determined to make is our fault. Very strange behaviour and reaction to our unhappiness. Even suggested we drank too much with meal. Three of us don't drink at all. Refused to give us their names. I Wiil l be reporting to city health services. And BBB.RUINED our evening with family.

Great food, competitive prices. But if you plan to order through Uber eats, I hope you're not too hungry cause it'll be a long while. My driver took over an hour to deliver.

Sent the wrong order and then didn’t answer their phone after I got my order. Really unprofessional

These negative reviews are real. Ordered last night for the first time in a while. Only ordered two chicken dishes with fries. Everything was soaked in grease. The fries were dripping with oil. My boyfriend found a hair in his chicken wing. So order here at your own risk. Don't spend your hard working money here....I still feel sick after eating this..... We saw other reviews were given problems when trying to get their money back so we didn't bother. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 ORDER SOME WHERE ELSE.

Ordered several items and all were very good - a great experience!All was fresh and the eggrolls & chicken balls were nice and crispy (chicken balls were not overly battered - just right).

I ordered a few dishes for Friday night dinner last week and it was awesome. We loved the Beef with Flat noodles in Black Bean sauce and the Cantonese Chow Mein is excellent! The sweet and sour chicken balls were a bit doughy, but overall great Chinese take out - Canadian/American style!

Don't count on their attention to detail for take out .. ordered an all chicken balls combo and they didn't do it which I guess is their right .But they didn't include cutlery of napkins with my delivery that was to a commercial address. Like how am I supposed to eat this chow mein I didn't want Update. Ordered twice more and they got it perfect! It's affordable and very delicious although I am pretty close so it holds up well

Hard to find decent "American" Chinese food in Ottawa. Golden Capital is better then some but still not anything amazing. I think they messed up my order as well. Cost seems like good value over all though.

Used to eat here all the time a few years ago and it was awesome, but not this time. The egg rolls were the smallest I've ever seen and the garlic spare ribs were tough and flavourless. Cashew shrimp left a lot to be desired, and the sweet and sour chicken was alright. Over all not impressed.

Great chicken balls and chicken dishes 👌 the rice dident taste fresh and the egg rolls are so so . My kids did love the rice and ate a ton of it

Good portions sizes and fair prices. We ordered Cantonese Chow Mein, General Tso and the Appetizer Platter. The order came with 3 free eggrolls, a small chicken fried rice, and a cup of white rice, for free.I'm not sure if an ingredient was left out of the General Tso, but ours tasted like salty chicken. Really good chicken though. Great quality, big pieces. Some vegetables, but not too many! Definitely a good meat to veg ratioCatonese Chow Mein was good. Same good quality chicken, fair size shrimp and moist pork. Lots of fresh Veg. Would order againI think the appetizer platter is a great idea! It had a few chicken balls, fried wantons, fried shrimp and sliced bbq pork. Plus the 3 free eggrolls!Also the batter they use is awesome. It's pretty greasy, of course it's deep fried!, but it's nice and crispy!In conclusion, definitely worth a second try.

I love the General Tao's. Food is always hot and tasty. Prompt delivery service.
