Golden Basket Restaurant

I don't give praise easily. This restuarant is a true gem! I dont know where to begin so let me just say every morsel was delicious. Everything was properly made to perfection and my wife and I WILL BE RETURNING!

Ordered take out yesterday to bring lunch to my elderly parents. I was greeted with smile, food was ready, and a big thank you. When got home food was hot, with generous portions of food. (GYROS) It was so good, it was a treat. Thank you!

The fish was over cooked. Waitress was good. Price was very good.

Have eaten @ Golden Basket for many years and have never had a bad meal. All the staff is very friendly and check on you several times while you are there. Their menu has expanded through the years and any meal I've had has been very good. Their different soups are always good! I would recommend enjoying a meal there.

Waitress was very nice to us. Checked on us several times. Drinks filled before soda was gone. My only thing there wasn't Dr pepper or Dr. Pibb and the gyro was kinda small but it tasted great! French fries were awesome. Most places I don't eat all the fries but I finished my plate this time. Definitely will go back again.

SO good! Large, delicious portions. The chicken soup is the best!

Our waitress was very friendly, as was another employee who stopped by our table. My sister and I both ordered the turkey dinner and I'd have to say it was the best turkey dinner I've ever had from a restaurant. We were given a choice of all white meat, all dark meat or a mix. We both chose all white meat and it was very good. The stuffing and mashed potatoes that came with it were also very tasty, as was the bread from the bread basket. My sister also ordered cheesecurds as an appetizer, which we all tried and they were very good too. My fiance ordered the biscuits and gravy, he said they tasted good but the portion wasn't as large as he would have liked. My daughter had a pancake, sausage, and egg, which she seemed to enjoy very much too. All in all it was a really nice dinner, for a very reasonable price.

Great old time diner with friendly servers and good food for a very reasonable price. Soups are home made and fantastic.

I’ve been dining at Golden Basket for 20+ years. They always greet you with a warm smile, a family-friendly atmosphere, & ALWAYS have the BEST food at VERY reasonable prices! Super wide choice of cuisines to choose from on their menu, all made fresh to order. When I lived in Green Bay, Golden Basket was at least a weekly stop. Now that I live 1,200 miles away, whenever we return “home”, it’s a “must stop” for great comfort food. Owners Gus & Anna, along with the entire staff, do a wonderful job! Stop by, give them a try if you haven’t already, & you’ll quickly realize Golden Basket is truly a gem in the community. I guarantee you’ll be a repeat customer!

Delicious food, great service, nice and quiet. Came in during a business trip to fill up for the ride home. The food is very humble and down to earth, if you can say that about food. It was easily the quality I could have duplicated at home or your mother might have prepared. Theres just something warm and sincere about it that filled my stomach and my heart. Ordered her because they were the only restaurant in my area that had chicken noodle soup and hot tea that delivered. Came in real clutch as I was trying to get over a cold. They are reasonable in price and the chicken noodle soup was amazing, definitely recommend. My only complaint is that they don't salt their American fries but that is incredibly minor. Looking forward to trying other menu items in the future

Great food at this family restaurant. They have a soup and salad special that's reasonable and great tasting. You can tell the soup is home made. Our hostess was Cassia and she is really a sweetheart. Highly recommended

This family run restaurant is always so attentive. The host and hostess are the owners and they're always seating me where I'd be most comfortable. Their large menu has alot of variety and their dishes are served fast and are always delicious. I've been enjoying them for years. Always delightful. Thank you Golden Basket!
