This was the Gold Star in Hartwell (Cincinnati). Warm, friendly staff and great food. My granddaughter and I had vegetarian dishes and my husband had regular chili. Food was terrific! Gold Star is our favorite Cincinnati-style chili.

The service was excellent. Looks like new management and they are doing things right. If you have had issues with them in the past, you may want to give them another try.

Bless his heart the owner tries to keep it together. No matter weather his useless help shows up or not. On the morning shift. He still gets a quality product out. Might take a minute, but it is worth the wait. No slop throwed together. It's what you ordered and how you ordered it.

Got a double decker. Best ever! The quality and freshness of the meats and cheeses are always top notch. Gave it 4 stars because there is one more he likes a little more. But this Goldstar is so close to home. That puts It so close to a 5. It should get a 4.75.
