Godavari truly South Indian

I have been searching for an authentic Indian restaurant in Charlotte . I tried couple of them but unfortunately all of them have been customized to cater the local ppl here. But this is exactly what I was searching for . It caters to the taste of both , the Indians and the local people in Charlotte . So I would highly recommend this place . 5 stars from me to them !!

My husband loves this food. Wonder staff who are very prompt and vigilant. You water vase is empty.... wait here comes a refill with out even being asked for. Your used plates dont need to sit on the table the staff see when you are close to finishing your plate and will be there to collect it as it become completed. The food is excellent with many many choices. And is always fresh. The restrooms are clean. Parking is plenty and easy access to the front door. Handicapped accessible. Wide doors and ramps.

After our visit to Concord Mall our Dinner Stop was Godavari Indian Restaurant ..it was our first time so went without any expectations ..Big size restaurant seems easily can fit more then 100 people ..Ordered ..Dosa ..uttapam and Godavari Special Uttapam ...Service was quick and good ..Food was good and made to our taste ..but the masala in Masala Dosa was kind of Stale and had some weird smell ...but rest of our orders were good and well made ...staff was good and courteous ..overall good experience eating at Godavari

Upscale ambience, very friendly staff, good customer service, well maintained place.We had Gobi Manchurian, cut Mirchi. Gobi was crunchy, well seasoned, flavored, very well done. Cut Mirchi was ok, no spice and not much flavor.Garlic naan and veg chittinad was really good. Very flavorful and tasteful.Veg dum biryani was good, could have been better.Kids triangle/cone dosa was Okay. Chutney and sambar could be improved.Overall, a good restaurant to dine in.

I went there yesterday i.e. Dec 10th 2019 and ordered Gobi 65 and Mutton Biryani. Both the dishes were fantastic and I had to compliment their service. Must visit for people around Charlotte area if you want to try authentic Indian food.

It’s upgraded with great bright color scheme tasty food as always and great supporting staff especially with changed ownership. Loved the support of staff, cleanliness and food taste..!! I would love to visit again.

We had the vegetarian buffet and it was total value for money. Loved the ambience there. Planning to go there again to try out some more of their Indian specialty dishes.

Visited twice so far. We went for buffet for Indian food. There were many items and taste good. They even had separate counter for dosa and 3 types of biriyani.

Authentic Indian food at affordable rates. It was a wonderful experience to dine in with family. Will definitely revisit.

The buffet was great the labeling of the food items could be clearer.

The food and service are the best. This is one of my favorite places to come. The hospitality of Cliffton and Salman, makes you feel like home.

The food was delicious! The owner was delightful and helpful as was the staff!

I like the authentic south Indian food so much so I requested their catering details, to which they responded with the full list within a couple days.
