Godavari Delaware

GodavariThis is our third time ordering take out from here. The food is consistently fresh, ready on time and delicious. They have a pretty extensive menu with a lot of variety to choose from, including vegetarian options. Kosta Curd Rice (yogurt rice) - so good and very healthy. Was a first trying here and love it. Kodi Guddu Special Biryani (egg Biryani), New Delhi Channa Masala (garbanzo beans) and the Tadka Dal Tomato (lentils) are also so good and vegetarian as well. We love Indian cuisine and we’ve tried a number of different restaurants in DE, Godavari is definitely one of our favorites.

If you have been waiting to try some Indian food now is the time. The service was fine not much interaction but were attentive and everything was perfect to order. Food came out hot and spicy as it should.

This restaurant has been closed because of using expired food material getting caught in a food inspection. Not sure how they got permission to open again. Because of my friend I had to visit this place again today on 1st Jan 2020, they said they had a special grand buffet but the food was so much horrible and the price is very high for the quality they maintain. Many of the items were not cooked properly. And not single dish can be called an authentic south indian dish. Please don't go to this place ever again. They are just fraud. It's better to visit malvern PA or new jersey Godavari.
