Absolutely love coming here for happy hour. The service is always great and it’s never too crowded, so I can always get a seat at the bar. Definitely recommend the French onion soup and cheese curds!

Great brunch selection, with their poached eggs poached to perfection. They offer drinks as well, and they made quite the strong Irish coffee the day I visited. Prices for brunch are very decent, with drinks a little pricey, but that's what you get when you want to enjoy 5 o'clock somewhere in the world.

I live around the corner, so I consider myself lucky to have Goat Hollow as my neighborhood joint. They have great southern style home / new American food for lunch and dinner - but their brunch is what my daughters and I enjoy on almost a weekly basis. My usual is the huevos rancheros made with home smoked Tasso ham and tater totes on the side. Def crave worthy! The staff is great w/ a relaxed vibe. One of the better options in Mt. Airy.

Awesome mussels! Huge and done perfectly, and delicious! They have perfected it! Nothing like I've ever had! Typically you will receive a few not completely cooked. Not here. I've had their mussels at least 3 times and each time, perfect. Photos to follow.

I previously gave them a 5-star review. My wife and I have been there a few times this year, including our anniversary. Unfortunately, we went for trivia night and that's when one manager's true colors showed. As the host, he was constantly making jokes about deporting patrons for various reasons. My wife and sister-in-law were there with me, both of whom are Mexican. I told him he needed to shut up because there really were Mexicans here, and he replied with something to the tune of "then we really need to build a wall." More words were exchanged and it didn't get better. He later attempted to apologize by saying he thought I was joking. Yeah, forcibly separating families and ruining lives is *hilarious*.I'm really disappointed because the wait staff is friendly and competent. But I'd recommend not supporting a restaurant that hires managers who make people feel unwelcome because of their race/ethnicity.
