Glory Beer Bar & Kitchen

I honestly miss the place the restaurant that this place essentially came from. In comparison to it, the prices have definitely gone a bit up and it's no longer a Belgian bar. The entrees were decent, but again a bit expensive. Service was great at the bar however.

Ive been here twice since they opened and I love this place. First off, the owner, Dave, is super cool and a certified beer genius, so absolutely pick his brain before you just order the same beer you always get. Glory's beer selection is massive and unique, so you're sure to find a new favorite brew. The food here is outstanding. The menu is short yet refined, especially for bar food. The porchetta is perfectly done with a crispy outside and tender inside, and the octopus salad is unreal! The desserts are also a slam dunk - the old fashioned apple tart is so satisfying and the chocolate cake will leave you wanting more. Also, a very cool, new, open space which is great for bringing a group. They have communal and small tables. Overall, totally worth a visit!

Glory Beer Bar has an amazing staff! Everyone was extremely helpful and fun to work with and talk to. The atmosphere of the bar is perfect while watching a game, and you’ll also have the benefit of access to one of the most extensive beer menus in Philly. Not only are the drinks great but the food was all delicious! I definitely recommend ordering the Mac and Cheese!

Wow! What a great find. We were here in Philly for the first time and stumbled upon this gem while walking after visiting all of the historical sights. It turned out that this place has one of the biggest beer menus I've ever seen! The food was spectacular and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even though there was a big lunch time rush and they had a limited staff. Alex the bartender was great at recommending beer and his choices were excellent. Would highly recommend when your in the area!

Somewhere between a 2 or 3 stars. Beer selection was very good and the bartender knew his stuff. The mac and cheese with bacon was very cheesy and delicious. Service was extremely poor though. There were people sitting at the bar that seemed to get served fine. The two or three tables that were there appeared to be a bother though and forgotten often. Felt like a burden to the staff

My 2nd time at this bar, both equally great. Extensive beer menu and cozy ambiance. The music comes from their record collection which is a nice touch!

This is the place. Variety of beers, always. Their food is fresh and pairs well with their abundance of beverages. The staff always takes care of their customers. Over all, a great location to camp out and experience flavor.

A truly prodigious beer selection. A limited, but phenomenally executed menu. My bacon cheeseburger was exactly that and it was delicious. The arugula salad that accompanied it was remarkable.The service was relaxed, personable and expert.If you're in Philly, near Independence Hall, make it a point to visit.

The bartenders are knowledgeable and super chill. Great selection of beers and ciders. Really good food, great space and location. This will definitely be a regular hangout spot.

I stopped in here one Saturday afternoon for a late lunch after watching a movie at the Ritz. They have a pretty good selection of beer and a decent sub section of Belgian beer. I also ordered a prime rib sandwich which was pretty decent. Service was excellent and the staff were quite knowledgeable about the beers they served.

Best craft beer selection in the city. Great food. Wonderful music played on vinyl. Super friendly and attentive staff. They really want this place to be enjoyed. I get it, and love it what they are doing here.

Great beer selection, really good food. Run by old staff from Eulogy. Food portions seem a little on the small side for salads. Burgers are really great. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Cool atmosphere, staff suggested a great beer for me to try. It was really good, also the Mac n Cheese is on point. Creamy, rich and flavorful. Love it!

Absolutely love this place, great beer bar! The manager is always wonderful, he is very knowledgeable about his products, truly love that. Aside from the beer, the food is delicious too. The French onion soup is out of this world and the wings were outstanding too.
