The food is perfect, we had the cheesy enchiladas it was tasty, it's my first time to taste Mexican food and I'm surprised how tastey. The restaurant setup is okay, it is not a cozy place.

Great family owned local restaurant! Was looking for a new taco spot on the westside of Madison. Their Steak tacos are perfect! Simple, yet flavorful. Great Mexican food on the westside of Madison!

Average food, pretty costly. I heard it was a good place for Mexican food but not in my opinion. I had a steak torta cost$11. Usually they're about $5.

The nachos ala mar are fabulous! In fact, everything here that I have tried is great. I appreciate that they have a vegetarian section on the menu (I'm a pescatarian). The beans do not contain lard (hooray!), nor are the chips fried in lard. I eat here regularly due to the proximity to my office. Their version of a poloma is so so good.

I go here for lunch about 6 times a year since it's really close to where I work. Most times it's good but here are my suggestions: thicken the salsa - it's a bit watery. Listen to the customer: If they ask for water, bring water, if they want the check combined, combine the check. Overall the food is okay - wasn't really blown away by it.
